Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Our 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale will last until Sunday, December 29, at 1:59PM GMT. Happy holidays from GOG.com team, everyone! And again, sorry for the server issues in the initial hours of our sale.

nijuu: Ultraviolence pack is winning the vote :(

Has anyone actually bought anything yet?.
I got the first three Broken Sword games. I know I had one an two at some point, but definately not the director's version.
Thinking about getting Gabriel Knight 3.

I bought Lionheart - Legacy of the Crusader, couldn't pass up grabbing it for just $2.39. :)
I also grabbed Gothic II: Gold Edition from daily deals for trade and plan to buy a few more games.

Ungunbu: no i didn't mean fallout games but the 3 boxes with "surprise" deals
i'm asking this because i choose one and got nox that i already own and wanted to trade it

nijuu: Everyone gets a different surprise. Apparently it wont give u something u have on ur wishlist though.
The random box apparently gives stuff from the other two boxes. You only try one box once per day
Who said the pick-a-box wouldn't give wishlisted games?? It's definitely not true. The game I got for day 2 (Deadly Premonition from the middle "newer games" box) was on my wishlist. I was pleased at the timing, since the new official patch added to the fan patch have just now got the game to a state I'd be happy to play. ^_^

There was one or two people who mentioned as such. Someone mentioned about free game via the surprise box, but i see no mention of that...

never got that mail for some reason
Dungeons and more dungeons...
Bought Carmageddon.
Already have platformers.
Already have all games that will be offered for tomorrow's community picks.
Got already owned Thief 2 in the mystery box.
:-(
In the boxes with offers specially for me, I still get games I already own :-(
Why do you make me a special offer I have already bought :-(
Not interested in any of the deals tomorrow but I voted for Dungeons and Dragons Desire anyway since it is a damn good deal=).
Wow... Of the two community deals to vote on for tomorrow, I own already EVERY single one in both groups! Of course they had to pit them against each other! If this match-up was straight-up about which games were better I would say it is too close to call. Sadly, it will likely be about which one more people do not have instead.

As I have them all, I will have to abstain.

Try waiting until later? I've clicked the deals in the wee hours and been offered good discounts on games I don't own. Didn't buy any yet, holding out for the ones at the top of my wishlist :)

Not quite true... I had Bards Tale on my wishlist and it was my surprise yesterday. The day before it was Crusader No Remorse, which I did not care for but chalked it up to the random generator. So it IS possible to get games that are on your wish list - it is all luck.

Edit: Just did today's classic surprise (the two above were classic as well), and I got Wasteland. As this was a day-one purchase for me I just bought a copy to save for gifting later. Very nice deal though, so hope those that do not have it but also want it will get it as their surprise too.

Aww I wish the Memorable Dungeons pack would win. The D&D games tend to go on sale for 75-80% off every few months, but the other pack has the Wizardry games and Stonekeep. Vote Memorable Dungeons!

If that's true, then you game game the system?! add everything from the possible games lists posted here except the ones that you do want. I suspect it's completely random though so I can't be bothered to test it myself.
