Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

HypersomniacLive: Are we talking about the same thing?
I'm just trying to think of of some logic, besides "they fit together", for bundling games with all kinds of castle and empire building.
Im actually wondering if the sale will go out with a bang? it feels like it just...kinda slowing along.....

Pretty sure they'll pull something big out for the finale. Only three days left. Might be the bundles that lost in voting being available for one day only, might be something else. But yes, I do agree with you that the pace is certainly slower than the insomnia sale. Even the parts of it that dragged were filled with people talking, commiserating, playfully begging people to take one for the team and buy things that they might otherwise have no interest in at all so the speed could pick back up. This thread is under 1,500 posts in 2 weeks where the thread for the insomnia sale is at roughly 30,000 and the vast majority of those came in roughly 5 days.

This! I would love to see this! The only bundle I was literally interested in (Heroes of Might and Magic, aka Mighty Heroes Magic Pack) lost in the first day of community vote versus Bullfrog Classics. :(

TurnipSlayerr: Ah bugger, that's definitely not supposed to happen. :(

We'll try to get this sorted as soon as possible but of course everyone is out on holiday so it won't be instant.

As a user posted earlier the deals for today are the following:

Sorry about this and have a Merry Christmas everyone!
Are you counting the days of the sale right?
If I ot it right, it should be Day 13 today, not Day 14!
This would make sence as the "48 Hour-Sale" had been called Day 13, but was aborted ON the second of it´s two days...

The sale began on the 12th December. This makes today Day 15.

Hmmm, this seems to be right, but I´ve always just copied dates for my GOG-Fanclub-News and it seems like I missed one day...

The daily deals are good for the most part, the only thing is I keep getting The Adventures of Shuggy! Three times in a row...
So, it's a vote of indie platformers vs. some other indie platformers. Gog, you're spoiling us with variety.
Nothing for me again, already have the two games from the Against all Odds bundle and the other one I'm not interested in all games (remembered playing one of the Lords of the Realms games and not liking i much). Tried my luck in the surprise sale with Shadow Warrior (2013) but appeared with only 50%...

Count me in as another proponent of this.

C'mon, GOG! You wouldn't want to miss out on a perfectly good opportunity to find a taker for Jack Keane, would you?
If mondo's very useful thread is to be trusted, there's only one more wishlist item for me at the dailies tomorrow. Then I can finally take a break.
ahh, nothing in for me today, even the daily surprise was owned after re-roll :(
Now that it's been mentioned, there really have been an awful lot of strategy bundles. Pretty much all TBS or otherwise slow paced ones at that. Not my thing typically, and I think it contributes a lot to the "same old, same old" day-to-day feeling of this sale. Most days I'm just waiting on the timer to tick down so I can see what's coming up on the day after.

I didn't really pay any attention to the Insomnia sale, but the Summer sale was pretty much this same format. The big difference being that there was a lot more variety in the types of games on offer.

Winter hasn't been a complete loss, I've picked up a couple bundles and a few other games too. But there is very little sense of excitement or feeling of looking forward to the next day.

.........
Good grief. I'm starting to sound like some of those people I look down on. The ones that act like a 50% sale on almost everything isn't good enough, or that a game you really want to play isn't worth paying at least $5 for.
I'd like to see some bundles that emphasise the lesser-known titles in GOG's catalogue. Not because I necessarily want a better deal (I'm going to buy these whether they end up in a bundle or not), but because it might expose more people to them. Here are some of the titles that I came across in a recent perusal of GOG's games that I had forgotten they carry:

The Runaway series (Runaway: A Road Adventure, Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle, & Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate)
Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor
The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition
The Shadowgrounds series (Shadowgrounds & Shadowgrounds Survivor)
Original War

I could easily see the first three bundled in a kind of adventure set, and the last two in a combat set. This would boost the visibility of these games that otherwise might languish unknown to many users. Many of the bundles have focused on titles that people already know, which I'm sure makes sense from a mercantile standpoint, but which underplays the truly rich diversity of GOG's offerings.

EDIT: Just saw this post. So it sounds like there was a bundle with the Runaway games, and possibly some of the others. I must've missed that during my holiday celebrations. Perhaps it didn't win the votes, in which case I hope GOG will make it available in the grand finale.
