Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

With today's deals lasting 48 hours (not 24 like previously) I wonder what GOG has up it's sleeve for tomorrow, maybe another encore day?

Today's "Rule by Magic" pack is nice: 3/5 good games (13$, some recent) for 10.45$

Next bundles, instead, are pretty useless: only Myst1 and Runaway1 games seem worthwhile.

Or maybe there won't be anything special and the deals will only update after 48 hours...

This year I picked only roguelike bundle . I waited a metroidvania bundle . But there is none . And I bought them seperately :D
tomorrow's deal: Jack Keane 1-2!

Merry X-Mas :D

real.geizterfahr: Why is it, that the timer for today's deals say "47:38:20 LEFT"? No new deals tomorrow?
It's because of Jack Keane - he's always a bit slow ;)

jackster79: Are you guys saying that I should NOT have voted for the Cinematic Adventures? :-p

Always wanted to eventually get the Runaway games, and well, might as well collect a piece of history with the other set.

At least there *is* a timer for JK this time around.
Also voted for the Jack Keane/Runaway bundle. Considering how pleasant and good natured the developers of Jack Keane were, even as a ton of people made jokes at its expense, caused me to see them favorably. Also, have been curious about it since the Insomnia sale. What if it's awesome and it was just the price point that was off rather than the game itself?
Another day without buying anything... (only purchased Lords of Midnight until now...)
There's 2 game I didn't own from the magic pack so I took care of that. I do not like the graphic styles and premises of the goblin and rabbit games so I'm not getting them.

My daily surprise is MDK at 1.49. I remember playing a demo when it came out and not liking it so I'm saving there too.

I'm also wondering what's up with the 48 hours sale, I know it's Christmas and GOG's employees may have the day off but I would have thought that switching the sales was automatic. I guess we'll see.

That is a good part of my sentiment towards it as well.

Ah well, maybe enough folks will be willing to give ol' Jack a chance, and in the spirit of Christmas forgive his past transgressions (like taking his sweet time during the Insomnia Sale).
Where is the 'rule by magic' picture from? Looks pretty spiffy, and I know I'd like to see more of it.

I'm quite new here instead, so, if a promo\pack is good, I'm buying it!
I wasn't sure about Roguelike Bundlelike, because I only wanted FTL+RL. Next time, maybe, with more discount ;)

For todays deal, can anyone tell me if Lords of Magic is any good?

Not sure if people noticed but although the GOG frontpage indeed says 45 hours left, the promo page, when you click to open it, shows a deal where the timer says currently 21 hours left.

And I just noticed that the daily 'surprise' timer is also the same as the frontpage timer...

What could all this mean? I guess we'll see that in about 21 hours. =)
