2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale Video Recommendations playlist

Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

nijuu: Have there been any adventure bundles put up yet? .Cant find the thread that listed the previous bundles..

CarrionCrow: There haven't been any that I've seen, and I've been watching this borderline compulsively since the sale started. The Gabriel Knight 1/Cognition recommended bundle is the only one that I've noticed.
Feels kinda weird since there are so many adventure games being sold here....
When GOG put up all the bundles, there was one with Night of the Rabbit.

Well, there's still time for five more bundles. Figuring Saturday will be the big end of sale blowout recap thing. Always a chance that it'll be presented before then.

If you mean point-n-click adventures, then no, we haven't seen one yet, and I'm avidly waiting for that one. It would be very surprising if we don't at least get a Sierra bundle, although I'm hoping for a selection of newer point-n-clicks too.

And now that I think about it, I don't remember seeing a thread with a summary of past bundles. Is someone keeping track?

Sadly only four since tomorrow's Community Deal is already decided and we've already seen all the recommended Deals (unless I miscounted them, but don't think so) and the only adventure related one is the Adventures in Little Worlds (Gobliiins pack 75% off and The Night of the Rabbit 70% off).

Our only hope is a Community Deal.

Should be five, I think. Tomorrow's deal will in all likelihood be the pirate-themed bundle, then there's Monday through Friday. I would be surprised if they posted a vote for a Saturday community bundle, since that will probably be the final day recap. But yes, it does appear that they showed all the recommended deals during the mid-point. Definitely hoping for further variety in the community items. Already picked up all the probable items from the recommended side of things that looked interesting during the midpoint.
Yep agreed.Definitely hope for a bit more variety (aside from more adventure stuff) in the remaining bundles. And dont forget they usually have a bit of a sale over the new year as well right?
If there an Ubisoft promo in the lineup, I can finish buying the games I don't need and might not play, but would like on my shelf. Still debating if I want to add any of the Rayman games to my wishlist (I've never played any of them).

Edit: Oh and a better price on Goodbye Deponia.

Sail, Trade and Plunder looks like a dead cert for tomorrow.

Anyone into these? by coincidence I added Pirates! to my wishlist last week, but I'm not sure about it. I can't remember which version I played and became addicted to, it might've been the Amiga version, but probably was an older 8 bit Amstrad version. I vaguely recollect some people grumbling about Pirates! Gold and saying the Amiga version was still the definitive best edition, so maybe it's best to just leave well alone? I'm already very happy anyway with this sale, so any more games would just be greedy.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is my other recently wishlisted classic. Was the original 2D game ever on GOG? I'd like that and SoT, but not any of the others.
ok, how do I buy (what I don't already have from) today's sale, and my personal deal at the same time?

Clicking "Buy Now" on the personal deal for Triple Town for $3.33 goes straight to checkout. I already have added "Lords of Midnight" ($1.19) to my basket. Only Triple Town shows in checkout.

How to I buy both these items in the same transaction?
