Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

GOG is pure evil.
Again i couldn't resist to buy a game from those spawns of hell.

HEY, i am 50. There is no much time left for me to play all those games.
(and than the problem with downloading all those games......i am going nuts.....wait, i am nuts...pweehh, saved)
Now if Descent 1-3 were on a 75% discount on their own I'd be a happy camper.
To whoever got the whole bundle: PM me in case you are willing to trade the Descent games for something.

Don't feel too bad. At 44 games for this sale and still looking for more. You might be nuts, but some people are moreso. =)
Hahaha, so much fun with today's video :D

It's so funny that he said about Space Colony HD "it was super easy" while he almost managed to make Tami and Stig kill each other :D That was absolutely hilarious :D

I'm not a big fan of tutorials myself but if you get this game I recommend you to go through it because UI is pretty bad so you better know what exactly you are doing

EDIT: PS Stig is actually from Norway, not Sweden

tinyE: Any opinions of Aquanox? (spell) I'm going to snag those Descent games because while I never liked the series it's been a LONG time since I played them and that was on a shit PC with no game pad so screw it, but I was curious about the Aqua games. I love Freespace but I'm not really good at controlling whole squadrons.
I have only played the first Aquanox, but it was horrid. Stay away unless you're desperate for another cockpit shooter.

Alas it might have been all junk. :P What happens if Decent turns out to be as un-fun for me now as it was the first time I played it!? :D I went ahead and snagged my Thief 3 daily deal instead which while nowhere near the quality of #1 and #2 still isn't a bad little game.

Time to upgrade that connection.

Solution: check game reviews and user comments :P
About Descent1, I still love it nowadays, expecially the (midi) music. Maybe the gameplay is a bit repetitive after 20+ levels, but who cares.
D2 didn't seem much different from D1, except for the annoying bot, but I just tried a demo back then.
I still have to play Descent3, probably a great sequel.

Woohoo!! Finally got Thief 2 in the specials. Cheers Gog.
Just bought my third game of the sale from specials, Legacy of Kain: Soul reaver. Now to decide on the the sci-fi package, I got not a single one of those.

Oh, and I almost bought Deadly Premonition and thank God for reviews and such, I first checked here and that made me go out into the internet to check there and unanimously the game is an unplayable crash fiesta disaster. So I dodged that bullet at least. I wish GOG would take that game out of the catalog considering how unanimous the opinions are on the PC port of that game.

Ah, so in other words, you have the kind of collection that I'm trying to accumulate. Here's the big question - have you bought things just because they're part of the overall collection, regardless of how little interest you have in them? I say that rather than my first thought of "regardless of how awful" since awful games can be interesting as well.
