Ubivis: I quit playing that game after I saw, that everyone around me never started to play. The Game had become boring to quickly :(
I wish I could say the same... I ended up rather in the middle/centre of the galaxy and thus couldn't get many a star for myself and even had neighbours trying to invade me in day two. Neighbours that, judging from fleet movement are active most the time (given a near instant reaction to own fleet launches). :/

Ubivis: What kind of Contest it will have, no idea yet, but we still have 9 months to go ;)
Might need a considerable preparation phase for some sort of contest though, especially if you want to hold tournaments of any kind (which are the funniest sorts of contest in my eyes, as they somewhat get the community closer together) :p

Ubivis: The Calendar itself will be quite easy to code... HTML 5 is really handy for this ;)
Ah, I thought you were going for a bit more of a dynamic, interactive approach.
is it going to be similar to Adventskalendar on Adventure-Treff.de? I took part in 2007 edition - it quite was fun. All those puzzles to solve each day...couldn't start work before I solved it :-)

Sorry, do not know that page, but puzzles to solve are planned well :)

HTML5 stands for dynamic... there are pages recreating adventure games, that are completely running in HTML5 :)

Dynamic without the need of installing a PlugIn like Java or Flash. ;)

But some of the tasks in the Calender will be in Flash, as not everything is possible in HTML5 ;)

Thank you very much for your contribution, I will deduct 10$ from the goal, as we do now need one game less :)

just a little update, that I update the server at the moment and that the development environment is currently not available for a couple of days.

just bumping the threat... I am still working hard on the page and have good progress with nice little surprising tasks/games to win a game daily in December :)

won a small amount in the german lottery and I decided to spend half of it for the Calendar.

We are now $20 closer to the goal :)

Thank you Reaver.

I will have a look at home, as I am storing all the codes there.
There are just 4 games yet bought, so the chance to pick one of those is quite low :)

I will only start to spend the donated money on the last codes, when we got all we need to get all the games.
