Definetly don't count out the US. Dempsey has been in brilliant form for my team Fulham and he is just the type of player who can win games.

cpugeek13: Yay! USA actually have a chance this year!
But seriously, I feel a bit bad for North Korea. I mean this is only their second world cup qualification ( thats what i read) and they practically have no chance to even win any games. As for France, as much as I love their team i agree that their manager has no place still being with the team. They should have replaced him after the very poor Euro 08 showing.
Personally, I think this is the USA's year to shine. I wouldn't be surprised if they advanced to the semi-finals.

The US has a soccer team?
Good lord.

Seems a fairly easy group for England. My tips for top 2 are England and Slovenia. Slovenia's a very nice place, so I'm hoping they go past the group stage.
Brazil's group is interesting and I think Portugal may find it too hard.
Kudos to Cambrey for your position... my respect for Henry disappeared with his actions. As a Liverpool fan I expected more from him at the time the incident occurred. A couple of stellar examples of fair play have involved Arsenal; one when Robbie Fowler tried to pursuade the referee that a penalty he'd been awarded was wrongly given, and two when Arsenal replayed an FA cup match with Sheffield United.
Would your attitude change if Henry was suspended for several games, or from the tournament altogether? Domenech's still undewhelming as the leader of your team, but if Henry was banned that would make me more positive towards getting behind the team itself.
Well, Italy has got what seems a pretty easy group to go through. But lately I haven't liked the team's play that much (unfortunately Italy isn't Brazil, even though it is a four-time world cup winner thus far....), and I'm not betting anything on an easy win at all....

It's about time england got an easy group!
Though if the USA beats us again then we'll never hear the end of it.
Shame Japan and Camaroon ended up in the same group, as i like them both.
What the hell was that? Did I just see the US team SCORE?

TBH I think I saw the US team kick the ball in the wrong direction. So all is not lost.

Korea DPR - Greece 2-0

One could say that Green really DROPPED the ball.

That was South Korea.
Korea DPR is North Korea.
lol @ England. They thought they were going to walk it. No passion, no work, just 10 men who know they will always be capped for England no matter what happens. I say 10 because next game it will be Joe Hart in goal obviously.
Besides Spain, most europeans teams are overrated anyway. I hope South Africa will do well.
