OMG! That is too hilarious ;-p

There is a percentage of the population that can't sing. Of that population, a very small minority can actually hear how off-key they are. Both my fuzzy lover-man and I are in the latter section but we still sing to each other, albeit badly ;-p Anyway, I hardly think anyone would put up with "Momo's Acoustic Chiptunes" for more than 10 seconds!

Btw, I am up to 222 games gifted not counting the one's in this GA! - Just keeping up those even numbers ;-)

I likewise. I can do the "growly voice" one finds in goth metal music passably well, but that's not really singing. :)

it's called death growl, harsh vocals etc, goth can be with normal voices too

Yah, I like goth actually, I have a decent collection of it. Favourite goth band is Theatre Of Tragedy, which combines the growly voice with more traditional male singing and ethereal female singing. Great stuff.

A similar growling technique is also used in hardcore music, though that is more "shouty". I've got a friend and game dev collaborator who is in Scottish hardcore band, and pretty much all their songs are in this style.
