The ultimate collection of amusement park business ups and downs!

RollerCoaster Tycoon Series turns 15 today! We invite you to celebrate the occasion with our special anniversary promo. The collection of all three great amusement park management games that let you create the rides you always dreamed about, is available for only $8.17 total for the next 48 hours. You can also get the games separately with up to 80% off.

Where's entertainment for the masses, there's massive income for a skilled entrepreneur. Amusement park is an automated money maker for a businessman who understands what it's all about. Build an "EST" ride--one that's either the fastEST, highEST, longEST, scariEST, craziEST, or any other possible "EST"--and the people will come running to experience the "EST" moment in their lives. As long as you come up with original ways to rattle and shake people, there's plenty of loose change that'll surely drop out of their pockets. Make them scream with terror or yell with joy and they'll get sore throat and be happy to pay you five bucks for a medium soda. You'll need a rake to handle the cash. But here's a secret: this isn't about money. If you'll go into the business with only the cash in mind, you will fail. It's all about letting your inner child finally build the playground of their dreams. Do that. People will love it.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Series is a brilliant lineup of managerial games that let you design and run your very own amusement park complete with custom rides and various other attractions. The more money you make, the bigger your budget gets, and the more technically advanced and extravagant rides you get to build. The economic part of all of the games is consistently challenging and deep, while the theme park development options are getting more robust and varied with every game. Creating a perfect mix of serious business simulation with the sheer joy of riding the rides you design, this great collection will provide you with many hours of pure fun!

Get your roller coaster business on track with RollerCoaster Tycoon Series for a small investment of only $8.17. You can also get Rollercoaster Tycoon 1,2, and 3 for $1.19, $1.99, and $4.99 respectively. The offer lasts until until Wednesday, April 2, at 9:59AM GMT.
15 years? Oh man I'm old.
I was gonna buy RCT1, but after discovering that the widescreen solution (http://www.wsgf.org/dr/rollercoaster-tycoon) is really complicated (and apparently doesn't work with the Deluxe version), I don't think I'll bother.
Wow hard too believe how old it is.
It's not on my wishlist but...yes, I'll buy RCT1 as well... Good Monday, gog :-D

EDIT: At the end of the day RCT1 & 2 land on my shelf :-P

But it's so easy.

Options>Window mode>Stretch out the window to fit screen. Not the most elegant solution but it has worked perfectly fine for me, certainly much easier than using a hex editor as that website suggests.

Here's a screenshot showing the window stretched into 1280X800.

.....That's stretching it's not widescreen. I just can't be bothered with the hex-edit thing.

it doesn't stretch the image, just the window size, check the screenshot.

Shaolin_sKunk: it doesn't screw with the in-game proportions, just the window size.
Oh right... interesting. How is it compared to RCT2?

lugum: it has a manual too :p.

I've yet to finish the first one so I haven't played the second but I hear most folks say it's better than the first.

i have some manuals from the addons that i believe are currently missing, also got a manual with a quick key sheet that is missing from the GOG one. Will have to do some more digging first for other manuals too before offering.
