I was just in town and saw another one of those highest lottery price of 15 million € and I was really tempted to just buy one ticket to hopefully win the money. And that got me thinking "Why would I want that money?".
Actually, I got a whole spectrum of ideas what to do with the money. I thought to start a thread with the simple question:
You got suddenly 15 million bucks. What will you do with that money?
What I would do:
*Buy all games on GOG(figures)
*make sure my step mother's pharmacy is financially save for the next 50 years.
*Get all the books of high quality literature I always wanted
*Go to Japan and buy from Square-Enix the rights of their old games, just as the Soul Blazer Series and Secret of Mana, and have them released at GoG with Open Source. While am I at it, get Alundra and Yamibou on the way and remake them.
*Save the tigers! And doplhins!
*Support the game developers and nationalists in Iran
*Support the Cyrus documentation some dude has been working on since some years
*Buy Lesbos from the Greek gouvernment and create your own game studio there and make dozens of games with lesbian protagonists for the lulz
Well, that would be it. If Ubisoft would be desperate of money, I could make a contract with them and make some Beyond Good and Evil and Prince of Persia games which WON'T suck and are DRM free.

I'll invest in GOG and use most of my money to help them get EA, LucasArts, and Hasbro on board.

I'd move to a different country and buy a decent house then i'd put enough money in the bank to make an alright salary through interest and invest the rest.

Get a nice freaking house,
and travel and spend my non travel time on the beach chilling enjoying the best of Thailand :)

I can think of about 19 places I still wanna go to and check out......

First: Move away, far away from where I bought the ticket and won. At least you can get SOME anonymity that way and don't have a bunch of random people mooching off you.
Then I'd buy a house, maybe a new car or two, then throw the rest into my credit union and watch the total rise like a mofo every year due to interest.

buy new computer for around 2 thousand.
new fridge to the house
new washing machine
rent a cleaning crew to clean the house throughly
buy new vacuum cleaner
rent a gardening crew to make the garden beautiful
sent a 500 dollar aboriginal painting to my parents
buy few suits i always wanted
the remaining 14985000 dollars:
keep 50 thousand in-ready to withdraw account, for emergency
divide remaining money into various portfolios, stocks, real estate, term-deposits giving annually after tax 4% interest rate.
Don't touch it till it is really needed... try to make your own money.

I would spend it all one making one of my dreams come true. making drow real. Its about time that dam good for nothing science did something useful.
