I was just in town and saw another one of those highest lottery price of 15 million € and I was really tempted to just buy one ticket to hopefully win the money. And that got me thinking "Why would I want that money?".
Actually, I got a whole spectrum of ideas what to do with the money. I thought to start a thread with the simple question:
You got suddenly 15 million bucks. What will you do with that money?
What I would do:
*Buy all games on GOG(figures)
*make sure my step mother's pharmacy is financially save for the next 50 years.
*Get all the books of high quality literature I always wanted
*Go to Japan and buy from Square-Enix the rights of their old games, just as the Soul Blazer Series and Secret of Mana, and have them released at GoG with Open Source. While am I at it, get Alundra and Yamibou on the way and remake them.
*Save the tigers! And doplhins!
*Support the game developers and nationalists in Iran
*Support the Cyrus documentation some dude has been working on since some years
*Buy Lesbos from the Greek gouvernment and create your own game studio there and make dozens of games with lesbian protagonists for the lulz
Well, that would be it. If Ubisoft would be desperate of money, I could make a contract with them and make some Beyond Good and Evil and Prince of Persia games which WON'T suck and are DRM free.

Guys, cut the crap!

Pay off all personal debts for myself, my close relatives, and close friends. That would barely be a million.
1 million to mom and dad.
1 million to sister.
500,000 a piece to my close relatives and friends. That would eat up about 7 million.
With the 5 million left over I would buy a nice modest house, a nice modest car, a new set of nice clothes, all the games on GoG, a new computer, and expand my video game purchasing ability on ebay so I could expand my business. No way that would eat up all 5 mil. So I'd be left with like 1.5 to 2 million. Sounds really good to me :)

Besides taking care of family and a few friends and giving a few millions to Cyan i'm not sure what i would do. Guess i'd travel for a while. I don't really need anything fancy for myself, so i really don't know...

Travel. Seriously, I'd sell my apartment, sell my car and just live on the road for awhile. Visit a lot of other countries, then come back home, buy only enough to sustain me, and buy a decent road motorbike and hit the road.
Once I eventually wanted to put my feet up somewhere, buy a place. :)
