That was certainly the first impression, but I don't think it'll stay that way for much longer.

GOG's ridiculously inconsistent curation that often forces developers to apply multiple times doesn't help either, if we're looking for reasons why developers get angry at such requests.

What happened ?

In short: users of ZP's Discord channel raided and spammed the social media channels of Selaco so that they release Selaco on ZP.

Considering how many active users the Discord server had, at the time, I'd say that's a gross exaggeration. Three or four people joining to request a release at Zoom is neither a raid nor spam. Nobody was raided or spammed, and nobody was asked to raid or spam. If that many people making a request is a raid and spam then what would you call all of the people here that asked, pleaded, and demanded Skyrim be released here for years? How about Dawn of War or any other popular game?

You can't really complain much about this one. Zoom is in the subject. If this were about GOG "poaching" from Zoom or anywhere else, and I noticed it, I'd probably still post.

How many people from GOG have posted here? Why does it matter who from both sides posts here? I also have a Steam, Epic, Red Candle, Microsoft, and other accounts. I don't expect anyone to buy anything at Zoom, though it would be nice. Did you see the post about FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage that someone made? Pretty sure you replied to it. Was the person that said it's at Zoom just supposed to say nothing? There's no harm in mentioning it, if no other DRM-free stores have it. Is that also anti-GOG marketing to mention a game that GOG doesn't have? Others feel free to mention games that GOG and Steam have in common when Steam is having a sale. It happens a lot because Steam is never not having a sale. "Why buy from GOG when it's cheaper at Steam?" Then a DRM versus DRM-free argument is started.
