Linko64: Just to be clear, there's no need to mention any Judge Judy (or Judge Dredd i guess) stuff :P If anything, just demand a CTF tournament or rap battle and even then it's a spot of fun!

There's no spilt milk, just a milk shake
Maybe not, but as much as the corporate shield likes to exist, sometimes individuals need to be reminded why it exists. The big thing these days is to assume that they somehow took enough precautions that their rear end is covered no matter what they do, which is far, far from the truth. The inquisitors are all out hunting witches, forgetting that they, too, are being watched. You go after the wrong people for the wrong reasons, thinking you're all high and mighty, and you'll be burning at the steak just as soon as the one you're finding the kindling for. Maybe we could go a few days without trying to burn someone just because they're on another team.

Of course, even bystanders can get accused and burned, too. I think you know this a bit more personally.

Of course, as of right now, it's just some bruises, especially on the egos, so let's hope it stays that way.

Linko64: Unfortunately, we've been threatened with a ban for advertising.
Kinda lame of them, but also kinda understandable that they wouldn't want to give free advertisement to a competing company on their forum.

In a way, we've come full circle: First Zoom refused to be advertised by gog, now gog refuses zoom to advertise itself on gog.

It's like a good WWF storyline...but whose turning heel?

SlackR84: Bought with stolen credit cards, etc.

Money spent on PSC, claimed back by credit card company, PSC want their money back and the large deposit ensures they get it.

https://developer.paysafe.com/en/rest-apis/reference-information/managing-payments/handling-chargebacks/

We looked at it, it wasn't viable. If it was we would have added it.
It would be good of them to have just a cash only option to avoid the harmful practices of the credit card industry.

If this were the case, one would assume they'd also delete/ban any similar linking to said site by other users as well.

But how would people get cash to Zoom, then? Stick a funnel into their PC's disc drives, perhaps? Magical (totally not demonic) teleport?

Separate Paysafe cards paid only by cash or something else that isn't as exploitable as credit cards.

You'd think by how there would be a system for1-time ID numbers for money transfers. Even twitch has a setup like that (not one time use, but regularly expires) with 3rd party program logins (most people don't see this, though).

I just use a credit union visa debit card via PayPal.

Sure, you pay a minor fee, but I only have limited funds in that debit account, not my life savings, and just top it up at need.

I'm risk averse, so it all works well for me.
Just wanted to mention, that I would be very happy with Paysafecard as additional payment method on Zoom.

It's been some time since I've bought anything on Zoom, but mostly due to trivial reason, that I''ve already bought some titles which were interesting for me and are still not available on GOG (like Judge Dredd platform game, Gold edition of Alien vs Predator (contains also original version of the game, so multiplayer not DRM-ed by Galaxy/Steam) or Alien Trilogy before it was taken down).

Although I will happily go for shopping immediately if by any chances there will appear games like Laser Squad: Nemesis or other "smaller" titles which by some reason are not available nowhere in digital distribution, despite very clear legal situation (LS: Nemesis is completely in hands of Nick and Julian Gollop brothers).

So far I'm in "bad luck' regarding recent releases (nothing interesting for me, but I'm not losing my hopes). New web design is definitelly something needed, but current one won't stop me from buying titles which are interesting for me :)

GamezRanker: I think you missed an opportunity here, though: saying "COME GET SOME classic and new games" (with the words come get some in big red letters, maybe) would've fit better with the image of Duke Nukem, I think. :)
Ace idea.

Linko64: ......
I just bought a couple more games from the ZOOM Platform.
I'd buy more, but the prices for most put me off.

GOG have the game NAM, but don't yet have the sort of sequel WWII GI from Ziggurat Games, which is available at Steam and via stores like IndieGala.

Any chance that the ZOOM Platform could pickup WWII GI? I am sick of waiting for it to come to GOG. It should have been released here when NAM was, and that was last year.
