There are still some exclusive titles* on Zoom though, e.g. some 1C games (amongst them surprisingly good Ascension to the Throne).

*well, not entirely, since some of those games are on Steam, but I had in mind rather "DRM-free version" exclusively.

MartiusR: Sorry for digging out old thread, but I didn't want to create new one.

I was interested in presence of old Duke Nukem titles on Zoom (DN1, DN2, DN3D and DN: Manhattan Project). And I've decided to e-mail to 3D Realms (told me that I should contact with Gearbox).

So I've sent an e-mail to Gearbox, but didn't receive any clear answer - only "thank you for attention, our team will check it and make further steps, if necessary. Since it was a couple of months ago (in summer, if I remember correctly), and DN games is still on Zoom, I'm guessing that it's legit that those games are there.

Last thing - I've learned from Zoom tech support that they're planning to make "refreshing" in 2019, there will be some big update of their website, as well as new releases and some discounts (at this moment there are no promos on their store). I've also asked, if with this "refreshing" their website, there will be some games removed from catalogue (mentioning Duke Nukem games), but they confirmed, that DN games are staying in their offer.

Therefore, as much as I can tell basing on e-mails I've sent, presence of old DN games in their offer is legit. Which is cool for all those who didn't bought (or added DN 3D in giveaway action) DN games in the past on GOG, before they were removed.
half way in the year and no updates from zoom. did they release any new games recently? not sure if you contacted them since then.
I swore I saw this site before when googling DRM Free games, it's interesting how they still have the race driver grid game there while everyone else had to remove it... but it's always nice to see more sites offer options for people!

It's not as interesting when you begin to think that no one is really actively maintaining their storefront, despite some PR mouthpiece manning a contact email claiming otherwise.

Not to say you shouldn't buy from them - if you want DRM-free titles of things that have been pulled elsewhere and don't want to risk fishing around in pirate waters then at least you have an option, even if those titles never go on discounts there.

How you know that no one is actively maintaining their storefront?
This storefront is an enigma to me. About a year ago, I bought the Duke series after some skepticism and research into the site. They work fine (and come with a custom installer for Zoom Platform games not unlike GOG's), and I haven't had reason lately to doubt their legitimacy. I still don't get how they can continue to sell games like Duke or Race Driver GRID without repercussions, but I suppose what it boils down to is the IP holders forgetting about Zoom entirely due to its obscurity. I'm sure when Gearbox replied to MartiusR's query that they'd look into it, they simply forgot to.

I intend on picking up GRID at some point in the near future, so hopefully a store refresh that removes these titles from circulation isn't in the cards beforethen.

I never made a claim to definitively know or not - just that it's easy to think that no one is, given easily viewable signs by most people who would visit the site like no active sales or newly released titles to the store. Then again, I'm not invested in it to the point that I'm monitoring it on a day-to-day basis to see if something as simple as the front page even changes from what it shows currently.
Nobody seems to mention the fact that they are still selling Racedriver GRID on Zoom. Wonderful game but i am not sure about the legality part there. If anyone missed the GOG release they can get a second shot at redemption ;). Cheers

Nope, only had some brief contact when I've suggested them some new games to add (amongst them rejected by GOG State of War), but nothing happened (seems that they've never received any reply from developer, I've also tried to contact with them personally, but also never received any reply). And that's it, I didn't contact with them since this moment... And I'm also a bit disappointed with the fact, that there is nothing happening on their website.

Truth be told, in e-mail I've received back then was also information that they're currently focused on this Megarace remake, there was mentioned that they're going to refresh entire website (with returning to some regular discounts - for now there are no discounts or new releases at all). For me it's a bit weird stuff, that they seem to have one team which is dealing with everything - from digital store to making (?) game.

Just my guesses, but there is not too much to say, I would need to contact them again to learn a bit more, what has happened in the meanwhile.

A post or two above your own and it's mentioned.
Well, the people involved are not a some nerdy hobbyists which are simply overlooked but some industry heavy hitters (Former presidents of Sony and SNK USA or an Apogee/3d realms founder [the original Duke Nukem guys ;) ]). The only fishy thing here is why these guys bother with an DRM free classic gaming platform to begin with.

If someone is interested - Zoom still exists, still no promised update of the store (nor any discounts on their games). And they're still selling Duke Nukem games (1-3 + Manhattan Project).

News section is rare and rather showing info vaguely connected with store itself, not to mention about twitter account (which is very active, but rather focused on quoting/mentioning about stuff "from the world", not connected with store's activity at all).
They have "The I of the Dragon" there. Wondering if they fixed the slew of bugs the game has or just plopped it there without a second thought. Might be my test purchase some time in the future.

MartiusR: Zoom still exists
Good for them, but as far as I'm concerned, they screwed themselves out of a potential customer when they acted like offended bitches over being included in gog's fckdrm site. Sure, that site is the lamest publicity stunt evar and there obviously was some bad blood between them and gog, but the way they acted over being given free exposure didn't garner them any sympathy points from me. Quite the opposite.

As for Duke Nukem, I'm frankly baffled why these games aren't back yet. Gearbox has published more recent games on gog, 2K has published more recent games on gog. What's the hold-up? Do they not like money?
GOG has been selling "Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins" here for years but the sequel, "Dragon Lore II: Heart Of The Dragon Man", is currently only available on the Zoom Platform. The Jordan Freeman Group, the development arm of the Zoom Platform, is listed as co-developers and co-publishers of the game, so it's possible they're claiming it as an exclusive.
