Goodbyyyye, moonmen.

Zombie Night Terror, the chaotic action/strategy where you guide your undead horde towards global contamination, has just received a huge free update - Moonwalkers. If you want to try it first-hand, now is your chance: the game is 50% off for a whole week!

The undead are best known for their peculiar appetites and bad personal hygiene, but that doesn't mean they lack ambition. In fact, recent developments have caused them to board a space rocket and infiltrate a moonbase run by a cult that was hoping to save humanity's brains from becoming lunch. This free update chronicles the fierce battle that ensues and brings:

- 10 new levels (some in low gravity conditions)
- 6 new enemies for your space-faring zombies
- New traps
- Plenty of fixes and improvements on the main campaign

Don't leave your loyal zombies without guidance. Get up there and help them out!
If you've already snatched the Deluxe Edition upgrade, expect to find 5 new tracks waiting for you there.

The 50% discount will last until May 22, 15:00 PM UTC.

Watch the trailer.

Very nice. I wonder when the editor is coming out (not on Steam yet either).

[EDIT] Well there's a beta editor on Steam, but there's still a ways to go.

GOG.com: Goodbyyyye, moonmen.
Moon men always reminds me of Basic Instructions. Interestingly, it has a re-run of a Moon Men episode for yesterday, May 14th. I can't seem to imagine zombies in that realm, but I'm glad to be reminded of Basic Instructions by the caption ("Goodbyyyye, moonmen") of this news piece.
GREATEST GAME EVER!!!

As for the update, am I supposed to get a notification in my library?

No map editor? I'd ask at least for that if you want me to buy a regionally priced french game. :P

What makes this a great game? I've never played it, and I'm curious.
Yeah why not, cheap enough to not worry if i don't like it.

It's Lemmings on acid. Fun, sick, bloody, loaded with Easter eggs. A HUGE BONUS: There is always more than one way to win a level and the more creative you are the better.

The only level I think it total bullshit is when you have to kill The Terminator. The level takes place in a replica of the police station scene in the movie, and that's fine, but actually killing The Terminator involves a very specific rigidly timed series of things you have to do. OTHER THAN THAT that it's totally to you.

Mind you, some parts are NOT EASY and you may encounter some frustration, but just remember I am a horrible gamer and I won it. Besides, a lot of those frustrating bits come from achieving bonus goals which are totally optional.

Having more than one way to win a level and supporting creativity sold me on it. Thanks!

If you need help there is a surprisingly large group of people posting vids and FAQs for it. I was shocked because it's a relatively small indie game.
Does buying here get a DRM version AND a Steam key?

Why would you get a Steam key?
