I got some recommendations.

SidAlpha : https://www.youtube.com/user/GreyWolf779/videos
He does 90% gaming industry news and is fairly accurate. Included because he does event based videos unlike the common weekly roundups and is good for keeping up with the less important / drama -ey stuff.

Tarmack : https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGnomeCast/videos
Does in depth videos on industry issues and also a weekly news show and other commoner gaming coverage. IMO more well researched than SidAlpha and his industry issue videos aren't any longer than they need to be.

Joesph Anderson : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyhnYIvIKK_--PiJXCMKxQQ/videos
He does long-form reviews / critique of games. Videos are huge and detailed and his upload schedule is slower, but his stuff is very precise and he illustrates everything he says on the screen. Go to guy to find out everything about a game.

Invicta : https://www.youtube.com/user/THFEProductions/videos
Does a mix of stuff. Regular uploads are total war related or is total war news but the other 30% is really good history documentaries often made with the help of total war games. I'm subscribed for these and his documentaries have good production value and audio quality, as well as obviously being a fountain for history documentaries now that History Channel croaked.
This is good stuff, especially for IGN (IGN Unfiltered):

The Years.Game series by GamingHD covers gaming history with a focus on PC from 1967 up until today (currently at 2001).

How about Indie King.

A channel dedicated solely to reviewing quality indie games.

Are there any new recent reviewers people can recommend who are still doing games? At the moment my favorites (for lack of options)

https://www.youtube.com/c/PartyElite/videos -- great for strategy games

https://www.youtube.com/c/SplatterCatGaming/videos - fantastic for indie games. Only issue is he mainly does games available on Steam :(. Pretty entertaining

https://www.youtube.com/c/MandaloreGaming/videos - great reviews (does mostly games available on GOG) however only does maybe 1 review a month - in great depth mind you.

https://www.youtube.com/c/Nookrium/videos - decent indies

As you can tell im more into indie games and all 4 youtubersi do tend to watch bulk of their videos (except if the game is really shit imho)

neurasthenya: Great not only made me interested, also made me remember another one, Danny from Gamespot does the The Pointseries (and he did a episode on Destiny a while ago).

Going to update the OP. :)
There are so many different applications to download and that means that everyone has the ability to download many different applications. Just like youtube vanced you can download. You know what YouTube is and what its features are, right? You can not only watch entertaining videos but also learn different useful things for you. It's very useful. So definitely try to educate yourself with youtube.
I like Mr Wendal on Games.
There's also no-name but that's more Star Wars through KOTOR (look up philosophy of Kreia and you'll find him).

That's all mine off the top of my head. (Admittedly these aren't *new* but they're new to me.)

I enjoy a few of those guys so thought you might enjoy some of my current favs:

Worthabuy - non-shill reviews as told by a salty (but accurate) old bugger.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCywBfpGBYhsczNuyyh6Cf6w/videos

Glock9 - Indie games, but currently focussing on 7 days to die. Combine DILLIGAF attitude with Jersey accent and mild cursing to make an entertaining zombie killer.
https://www.youtube.com/c/Glock9/videos

Kage848 - more variety than Glock but also more PG.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY6c18sccqyFL6PS5KVpicw/videos

Mitten Squad - REALLY offbeat humour. You will love it or hate it.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7FldPQ7aT7Slikg7tZc30g/videos

Lets Game It Out - pushing games to comical breaking point and then more.
https://www.youtube.com/c/LetsGameItOut/videos

SsethTzeentach - his rep precedes anything I might type
https://www.youtube.com/c/SsethTzeentach/videos

Grimbeard (mentioned above) for a darker version of Mandalores reviews mixed with goth humour.
