I would like to see the forums either revamped with ability for users to add more content.
DRM-content removed from Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, at least so they can be accessed offline.

Some new games like AA that are already essentially DRM-free.

Most Japanese developers are heavily Pro-DRM, so don't ever expect to see any of those companies' games here.

And before a bazillion people say anything, yes I know about Capcom's Dragon's Dogma and their Windows port of SF2 Alpha... but those are very high-profile exceptions.

And yes, many of SNK's fighting games are on GOG as well..

What about SEGA, especially the Yakuza games showing up here? Are they desperate for money which is why they gave GOG a chance?

Also I don't think people are exactly expecting them to show up (especially u/SCPM who knows a lot about all this by now), this is just a "wishes" thread. Some are more realistic than others imo.

The bot was removed last month. I suppose they might bring it back, since they don't bother communicating with users, but for now I'm cautiously optimistic.

1.Add a feature (a button) that I could remove free games from my collections, plz ... I really need this. I used to add some games that I didn't like, and now I wanna remove it, not just hide, it pollutes my library.
2.A more efficient way to report spam or bot instead of a report thread. Or just limit the voice of people who spent less than a certain amount of money, like Steam does. It is easy and effective.

I will never get this game because it is just way to confusing to me. It seems to me (without DLCs) like a rather small and inferior game with 100 or whatelse DLCs attached and every DLC cost around 5-15 coins... and at some point adding up to several houndreds of coins. No price cut on the "full version" but the "basic version" is currently even free on Epic Game Store. It just is no use in term most of the game content is lacking.

Anyway, indeed... Paradox is even better at milking than NIS, at least for this game.

In my mind they simply should merge all those freaking DLCs into one single "Definitive Edition" game and be over with... yet it cleary goes against their "marketing model".

As long as it works out for them, having enough of "high school geeks" who think they can use this game in order to become intelligent... they may be able to sell this game, with an intellect-abo included, even for 1000 hard coins... this is the price the school lessons got in mind.

Seriously, they can add new games any old time. What we need to see for this anniversary is a significant amount of effort put in to repair all the stuff falling apart in this store. Asking for X "big" titles is like demanding dessert when no-one has had the main meal. There's a lot of fundamental aspects of this place which needs serious work.

There are plenty of things that would be nice if GOG fixed or improved, but other than some great surprise games I really don't expect much for the anniversary.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, is surely GOG's motto.

So while they continue to make enough profit, I really don't see much changing, especially as most changes would require expenditure ... and more staff, which is even more expenditure of the ongoing kind.

So while I hope they give us a really worthwhile nice surprise, in reality I will just be happy if they continue to at least be as good as they have been, even though that has been somewhat flawed ... good being a subjective thing for most of us.

Certainly, if we see some truly good games from the community wishlists turn up, that will be something to celebrate. One or two of those might be seeming miracles and likely the only ones for the anniversary.

However, one can but live in hope.

P.S. Be careful what you wish for. Better forum software might be a double edged sword for instance ... gain something, lose a lot. Hell, they might even decide to do away with it altogether, except for maybe a game based section. You have to ask yourself about how much GOG actually gain from having an open forum. Just look at other stores. It is possible GOG might decide they have outgrown the need of the type of forum we have gotten used to. How many other places have such a robust chat forum where MODs are mostly hands off?

The forum certaibnly has it's weak points, but I like it for the old fashioned style, not being organized like a chatroom. That's one of the things I would not change. A few enhancements and fixes? sure, why not. But a complete new software ... nah.

Follow ups to "We'll look into it". That's the last thing we heared about Saints Row 3 Remaster's problems to save options without Galaxy.

Getting devs to update their games (Another World for example) and release bonus content here (soundtracks, artbooks, wallpaper packs ... the same as on Steam basically).

Better testing of offline games to prevent erros like the one in Saints Row.

Splitting offline installers into different languages again or introducing something like language packs. A 160 GB installer for a 70GB game ... that's just not right.
