Hello great purveyors of games! As a long time supporter and customer of GoG, I just want to express my dissatisfaction in how you are handling sign-ins to the site under single account. I have many computers and would like to be able to download games direct from my account on each system as I need. But this authentication business is already causing inconvenience - INCONVENIENCE!!! - to me and my family.

Please rectify at your earliest CONVENIENCE.

Thank you,
Sarxis the Great and Powerful.
Could you explain what's the problem exactly?
More security goes rarely hand in hand with convenience. Why don't you turn it off?

And why do you keep logging out and logging in again? My main PC is always logged in on GOG; it's been a long time that I've been confronted with the 2F authentication.

The price of a 10 second email interaction on the rare occasion you use a new PC is a small price to pay for more security. If you're in the very rare position of always using new PCs and more annoyed by it, you can just turn it off and risk it.

some people like to clear their cache / cookies due to tracking etc. - among a host of other valid reasons (including the fact gog is often broken in one way or another for one groupe of people or another) that may affect somebody being permenantly logged in.

Edit: though if thats the case, you either turn off the 2FA or deal with it.

I have an extension in Chrome/Firefox that deletes all cookies, but GOG is whitelisted. ;-)
This is the only normal way to protect, do not need aggression
You're not that Great and Powerful if a simple Captcha stops you :P
Turn it off or get over it I guess.
You can switch it off in your profile
But you shouldn't, because I'll come and steal your games if you do!
I don't find it annoying, I find it more baffling how they don't use a more sensible OTP solution.
Security always sucks and passwords mostly tend to lock myself out of my accounts because I forgot I made another password or something. But losing access to all your games or your bank account or email sucks even more so I guess it's best just to deal with the hassle from time to time.

Either turn off 2FA or stop spinning those IP addresses.

So, Sarxis the Great and Powerful, it helps to have some sort of brain activity BEFORE turning that computer on, right? :P

You know what would be even more annoying? Someone gaining access to your account without your permission possibly if you didn't have such in place.

All "jokes" aside(Which I only stated to prove how good the 2-step can be): You DO know you can buy a thumb drive/portable hard drive and transfer files that way(between PCs), right?

One can also use any cloud/etc storage site and save files/installers to them on one PC and then access such sites and DL those same files from them on other PCs.
GOG's 2-step is downright pleasant to deal with compared to some other systems I've had the misfortune to have experience with.

Besides, it can be disabled.

(Edit: Wrong keyboard layout.)
