I like getting free games every week and their Xmas giveaways. I have only bought 3 games from them because they gave me $10 coupons.
The Witcher 3: Game of the Year === $4.99
Far Cry 5 === $4.99
Metro Exodus === $5.99
All the games downloaded and worked fine. I was able to finish them all with no problems and had fun. I'm glad that Steam has another competitor.

I liked Epic for Unreal and Unreal Tournament games. Seeing as the last UT game came out in 2007, I've been indifferent towards them in the past decade. The last game I enjoyed that they worked on was Bulletstorm from 2011.
The only thing I like about them currently is being a thorn in the side for Steam and its users getting to know what it feels like when a game doesn't come to your platform of choice at release.

Oh ok, just checking since you said that the plural you won't announce new Epic games here, so that kinda led me to think hey so is this guy like some kind of new game announcer for Epic Games or sumthing etc.

Unreal 3 when?
If not, I'll settle for the triumphant return of Unreal Tournament with a glorious Assault map.

Epic games store:
Good:
-Free games without denuvo or any other DRM.
Bad:
-Every game publisher can release for any game, be it a beta version or a full version of game. Epic doesn´t care, is game beta version or a full game, as long as Epic receives its share of the money.
-Epic customer service is bad trust me.
-Epic store client is bad itself. GOG galaxy more flexible and people friendly.
-If you played broken game about 2 hours and 1 minute, no refund.
As a game publisher, classic games are good like, Unreal gold and Unreal Tournament series. I am not a fan of Fortnite.

Some unorganized thoughs.
- One more store, I'd like to have my games less dispersed into many accounts and clients.
- I've never done a purchase, I only get the freebies.
- I don't care for their Fortnite and online stuff.
- I don't like Epic as a business model, exploiting people with gambling addiction with loot-boxes and calling this "whaling".
- Ugly primitive client with no achievements.
- I appreciate that they seem to be a good publisher, taking the development cost, not meddling with the creative process - so they say
- I appreaciate that they take 12% from devs and not 30% like most other platforms. Of course, as for the free games, they can afford it.
- Then we have to wait for the exclusive to end and hope it lands on GOG, but hey it's games it's not matter of life or death as much as we enjoy them. It's not even so bad as a Playstation exclusive where you need to own a specific machine to play the exclusive. It's not ideal and it's a pity but it's not angering me.
- I would probably forget of having those free games on Epic if it wasn't for Galaxy.
- Some games are (incidentally?) DRM free, no installer but you can copy and move a working folder. So while not on GOG yet, I already have (or can make and store) a DRM-free version of Celeste and other games, and for free.
- I might rebuy on GOG games I've gotten for free on Epic.
- There's no classics, and I don't find releases there exciting or interesting. Most of the times I get my free game and I don't even look at what they're selling.

I like Classic Epic Games prior to them getting into digital distribution. I like Jazz Jackrabbit. Modern Epic not so much because of the way they handle PC Game exclusives with some titles. Like in Metro Exodus they (the devs) had a Steam page already up advertising the sale and during the 11th hr Epic got it as an exclusive. Also Epic doesn't have niche titles like Steam and GOG do. Like JRPGS for example. Also some of their free games I already own on Steam such as the Batman Arkham games.

Not terribly familiar with them, only signed up for the freebies. I do like that I can play Civ 6 without the client, and that makes me more likely to buy the expansions there... but it's still not as good as having a DRM-free installer.
As for their games, I did enjoy JJR2 and UT back in the day.I don't think I've actually played anything more recent from them.
