mindblast: Monopoly it's pretty good too.
Buy up all the really cheap properties, put up some crack houses, slum lord the shit out of them!
Damn, I'm not sure if any game I played this year actually came out in 2015. I'm falling behind more and more. Even the "new" stuff I play is usually a year or two old by the time I get to it.

dtgreene: I'd go with Elminage Gothic. It's not often that you see a Wizardrylike, especially on the PC. I wish there would be more Wizardrylikes rather than roguelikes; it's easy to find PC roguelikes; not so easy to find Wizardrylikes.
I held off on that mostly for the mapping, but now that I'm playing through the original Bard's Tale and making my own maps again (plus you can print graph paper off the internet cheap in 2015! Who knew?!), I really have the itch to pick it up.

Not sure which games I played any games that actually came out in 2015, but my favorite game that I played in 2015 was almost certainly Dust: An Elysian Tale.

That pretty much sums up, then you take the King and you're done!

Yeah, I really love roguelikes. Added ADOM to my wishlist. Thanks for introducing it. :)
Man, y'all just gonna ignore my beautiful self-plug in there? Tough crowd.
For me, It's Terrarria

Yes, I know it's been released way earlier than 2015, but just looking at all the updates and polish it has received over the years (last big update has been summer this year), and still does, it's definitively deserves game of the year for me (if not game of the century). Can't remember any game I've played longer and still having fun with it.

Azhdar: Looks like a nice and interesting roguelike. :)

Indeed. I used to play it in ASCII. I would like to reward the guy who works on it, but it is only in Steam. It belongs in GOG...

Although I've played plenty of games this year and not all were released this year, I have three games as my number one, and no matter how much I tried to put one on top of the other I just can't. The games were just that good for me, so without further ado here it is.

-The Witcher 3
-The Pillars of Eternity
-Undertale

I do have to mention Ori and the Blind Forest as a honorary spot. Great game, but those three were better for me.

Now let's just hope that 2016 will bring more greater games from indie devs. and less AAA+ games.
Hands down: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It's probably because of all the online features, but that might change with the introduction of GOG Galaxy. Who knows.

I like the way you think.
GTA Online

Just because you can finally personnalize your character and you can evolve (buying cars/properties/weapons) without bothering with the story to unlock them. Already have more than 220 hours of gameplay ^o^
Of those I have played : Satellite Reign and Undertale.

So far it's shaping up to be Crookz - The Big Heist for me (haven't finished it yet, but so far it's better than Commandos, which says a lot).

Haven't played any of the big 2015 names (Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, etc.) as their prices are ludicrous for me. Perhaps I'll get to them in 2017.
