Leonard03: Whu? Is that the original one?
It is the UK cover as far as I know :-)

Wow. Looks like there's a different cover for all of his books in the UK. Weird. Who publishes them over there? Tor?
I know there have been like a hojillion different covers, but I always liked the original Larry Elmore covers for the Weis & Hickman trilogy of Dragonlance novels, Dragons of (Autumn/Winter/Spring). There are plenty of covers with demonstrably better artwork, but few I can think of that fit so well with the world and characters.

Failing that, I really liked the novel Flatland, and the cover sticks in my memory.

It is published by Gollancz (which is a section of Orionbooks according to the writing on the first page)

Ah, thought of another one, the cover to volume 4 of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind manga:

That must be the difference, over here everything he's done is by Tor Fantasy. The minimal palette of yours is interesting.

The good thing is that I can normally choose between the two versions when ordering the books :D
Neil Gaiman's The Dream Hunters, illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano is one of my favorites.
