Yo ho ho, me lovelies,
A'plundering he has come,
With a pistol in his right hand,
And his left, a flask o' rum,

Says ol' Captain Darkness,
"Gimme yer precious gold!
Or I'll poke ye down the wooden plank
Into the wet and cold!"
________________
Now most highly I desire,
That Curse o' Monkey Isle,
But if that be a'missing,
I want a Lego pile!

Arr! Another great giveaway! Thank you for your generosity and good luck everyone! I'm not in.
Ahoy!
Thar be generous giveaway, capt'n!

Anyway, I'm not in. I left piracy the day I made my GOG account (and I just won another giveaway, I don't want to abuse...)

Thank you very much and good luck to the participants!
Ahoy, I would like to moor to the harbor with one of them:
- Anno 1503 A.D. (w/Treasures, Monsters & Pirates)
- LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean

The story of Капитан Яцек Воробей:

Boisterous Wind. Call of Freedom.
I'm reveling by Immensity of water.
Even though I have to be a Pirate,
I want to live on this course.

Even in deadly silence or in storm.
I know that my sea is heartless.
Should I bless or curse that day,
When I've became a slave of sea.

Under black flag I've been sailing for many years.
My frightful name is known in the whole world.
Maybe my wet hand in blood someday,
will open the golden gate of heaven.

Hey dude, look. That black cloud is coming.
Do you see that cloud what is coming to us?

Our warships finally are ready.
And they can't wait for setting off.
Impatient of great deeds and spilling blood.
We have never in hearts even a shadow of fear.
And for enemies, we have no mercy too.

The day finally come, the death will free me.
I will drop that heavy shackles.
I will join to them who are free already.
We will meet in Valhalla at last.

(Inspired by some of polish shanties. Brave sailors can try to guess the titles if they want ;))

finkleroy: ...
Aaaarrrrgggghhhh, you scurvy dog! Give us the story or I'll hound you night and day!
Ballad of finkleroy by Toothless Barney

Yon blackest night, young sailor be adrift,
Quickly he must fly, for Death follows swift,
Fears swim in his mind a sea-beast he fears a-woken,
His strength spent, and his boat be a-broken.

Though vision be fogged,
Rags for clothes, cold, and water-logged,
A treasure be a-board,
A locked Chest, lashed with hemp-cord.

A dream in Mind's Eye what Treasure lay inside,
For a life gamble be made, A bet made of his Hide.
Lives lost in struggle, blood spilled on deck,
A price on his head, a noose a-waitin' for his neck.

Lower the boat sinks, water creepin' in,
Vision blackens, water icin' skin.
By mornin' he be dead, life gambled and lost,
Over a prize not certain, bought at great cost.

Of plundering booty Pirates know best,
When seeking great riches, choose a locked Chest.
What the lad did steal, this song will now tell,
For your patience wears thin, and my songs tend to smell.

Chest bobbing in water, floating due North,
If keyed open, its prize to come forth.
A prize worthy of skullduggery, of murder, of theft,
Empty as the void, a Sinner bereft.

In for: The Curse of Monkey Island or Anno 1503 A.D.
Not in, but I want to see someone do a pirate smurf.

Just for fun, because I've already entered.

The clash of tin plates, the swagger and fun!
The song and the laughter, while downing a good rum!
I tell ye a tale, of times long past,
Stories of hard labour, before the long mast!

The story of my leg, wooden as this chair?
Or tales of past wenching, moderators beware!
When I lost my eye, pretty as punch?
(Lost to a head-hunter - he made it his lunch!)

Sounds of cannon-fire, roaring like thunder,
The roll of stormy seas, that'll make you chunder!
Seeking fortune and fun, the amass of treasure,
Buying pretty things, whatever your pleasure!

But now I must dash, if I can pass,
For I ate something bad, and I've pretty bad gas!
Out of me way! I'm in distress!
Let me flee this place, before I make a big mess!

Yar.
