Klumpen0815: I loved that aspect in Braid, haven't played Sands of Time yet, but in all those games you play characters manipulating the world and time, I want to be time manipulating the world and characters.

toxicTom: Hmm.... there is a game where you manipulate fates of whole civilizations, but I can't recall the name.

Other than that. "Being" time is boring, no? Very linear. You could probably play Call of Duty and and have more variety.
I think it could be really interesting, making certain characters/families/dynasties grow old faster/slower, letting mountains grow as fast as flowers, slowing down heavy objects in mid-air etc... do all that in a story that reacts to those changes and the possibilities are endless. Hopefully I'm not sounding like Peter Fraudyneux here, I only want to play and not sell it, although I'd like to be part of a game design team someday.

I'm enjoying the changelog on the devblog. :-)
Fixed a bug that would cause schoolgirls to fall through the ground on the way to school.
If you kill a girl, leave her corpse lying around, and then attend class, her corpse is no longer teleported into class.
Removed button that would transform schoolgirls into nightmare-inducing Lovecraftian eldritch monstrosities.

toxicTom: If the gameplay is solid, why not? I mean, aren't video games about doing things you can't or wouldn't in real life? Life being an animal, caring for it's kids (Shelter), being a hitman (surprisingly: Hitman) or a soldier in a war (not CoD, rather Operation Flashpoint)? Or a plumber with a hate for half-sentient mushrooms? Or a god? Or a wind? Or evolution?

I like how the broom turns more and more red as you soak up the blood and that you have to go and wash out the broom first before you can soak up more blood, that's sensible game design.
