Breja: This guy gets it! I don't want GOG to go back to being the way it was when I recommended it to all my friends, I don't want it to maintain a truly DRM-free policy, I don't want it to reject chinese censorship, I don't want it to communicate well with the user base, I don't want features like the GOG mixes back and I don't want them to lay off the marketing spam already - I actually want them to fuck up something more so that I can complain :D

Thank you GOG. What a lovely game to be on the front page as GA :). Have the notorious disc version and the always welcome GOG version already. Let’s hope this warms up the multiplayer part of XIII a little. Here is the All-In-One installer that adds widescreen support, important bug fixes( restored editor ;)) as well as working online. EDIT: The online component is run over InsideXIII. Here you can check the number of servers and players.

Oh, that's why he was eliminated from the sale. I had it written down for the purchase, but all of a sudden the discount disappeared. Thank you Microids and GOG. You're cool!

Thanks, I wanted to buy the game but got always affected by the reviews being a checkpoint based game and said no it's not time to buy it now even this spring sale i almost bought it.
I also didn't first want to have GOG with emailing me but then decided for it anyway because of freebies.
And it isn't as bad as i thought it would be, there aren't that many emails from GOG and have codes for other game discounts or other things like a free movie and now i got a free game.

And it's perfectly pertinent to also rant here about issues they have with this particular promotion.

Does Breja strike a mighty dramatic pose? Yes. Did he attack anyone personally? No. In turn, though, he was personally attacked and hit with downvotes; from where I'm standing: for the crime of having bad opinions and not stating them apologetically enough.

These mob dynamics are never a pretty thing to watch.

I'm all fine for free games but darn, this one is unplayable... and I didn't even go further than the menus!

What's wrong with the mouse? It's terribly hard to go up with it...

Have not tried installing it yet. I wonder if people who already have played with the version in GOG wants to chime in with some must-do advice.
