Sorry, I can't agree with that. The very idea of police force that investigates both humans, aliens and hybrids alike and has to deal with public unrest goes against multiculturalism and other BS SJW preach.

Unless the end reveal some sort of "it's all Trump's fault" message, the game is more like anti-SJW.

Gave it a try and i do enjoy the perspective and the continuation of the story line ... it kinda walks in line with watching the new ghost in the shell series... that said it is a bit weird to see all the xcoms on gog and this one left out so far

battles are a bit boring but for 10 euro's i'm not expecting what xcom 2 brought to the table

If you look at Steam rewiews, the game collects and send so much data before you even have the option to decline the eula. This is a no go. I call that criminal.
I will not buy this crap or XCOM 3 for that matter. I am done with AAA devs and publishers that do shady shit like this.

Civ VI even had a "Red Shell spyware" implemented in 2018, and was later removed because of so many complaints. This devs and publisher are not to be trusted, even less supported.

They will collect and sell your data, even tho they make more than enough money with so many games and DLC.

It's up to you if you want to support such devs and publisher!!

:( I wanted to get Bioshock collection but it looks like it is from the same company, does that have malware too?

I honestly don't know. I don't own any Bioshock game, and therefor can't tell for sure.

I don't think you can. Information about it could be in the EULA tho.

Once game is installed(that has a spyware), the spyware could be found in the Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program. And then removed from your computer by uninstalling it.

That's the way I found and removed "Red Shell" spyware.

But the way I look at it, if a set company is doing such things(adding spywares to their games) in the first place, even if they removed the spyware afterwards because of complains, who knows what they will/may add next/in the future....

...I just rather skip on such games altogether.

Yeah, that's why I don't even buy games on Steam anymore. Steam itself is a spyware in a sense. And you are required to login once every two weeks, if I remember correctly.

That's why GOG is the way with their installers. Today I still use Galaxy to install and play games, but eventually I plan on going completely offline while gaming.

It's fine in my case, since I don't really play coop or MP games.

Pretty common for people with that mindset to pile onto games that trigger them these days. They'll move on to the next game soon enough :)

The game's fun. Not perfect, but definitely worth 10 bucks. That said, it needs some bugfixes, there's some crashing issues with reinforcements atm and a potential equipment bug.
