Civ VI even had a "Red Shell spyware" implemented in 2018, and was later removed because of so many complaints. This devs and publisher are not to be trusted, even less supported.
They will collect and sell your data, even tho they make more than enough money with so many games and DLC.
It's up to you if you want to support such devs and publisher!!
