I am interested. Although this is one of those games that I am curious what they will change to improve as opposed to just change. I am hopeful though as I thought the EW expansion was good. Just wonder if they have enough for a sequel. Love these types of games though so in either case i am sure i will be getting it...

It's XCOM 2. The previous titles were X-Com. If you also count The Bureau in the XCOM series, then it's XCOM 2, but then Heroes of Might and Magic should also include the Might and Magic in its numbering.
XCOM is the current series. Original one was X-Com. Notice dash and capitalization.

Looks promising, i like the idea of being the resistance but i have to say, for a pc exclusive it doesn't really look impressive... at least my toaster can run it! :)

Could be good. I quite enjoyed the first one but it is far from original. Even today I rather play OpenXcom than XCOM.
Still good they are making it. It would be better if they moved it closer to original X-Coms or at least to Long War.
