I have not yet.

I thought it mostly adds new things instead of changing existing ones?

It polishes up mechanics noticeably. While cover works the same way, it 'felt' a lot better and more natural - I can't put my finger on precise changes, but there you go (and additionally, there's a built-in mode you can enable to lower cover based on relative position - I have preferred the strict cover, it's there nonetheless). It adds a lot more little enhancements like that, like making it clear what will be destroyed (or hit) by an explosion by highlighting it etc.
Very excited about this one. I'm intrigued by the notion of XCom now being the group who are underground, fighting from the shadows, scrabbling to get by.

Looks hype.
I hope they don't get rid of interception though. That's a part of the xcom formula.

If it has integration with Steam workshop it's even MORE godlike. Tons of players generated contents.

The picture seems like a serrated cutlass. I think games call it sawtooth.
