Hello everyone,
I come to you because I tested for four days the game I installed, which is CYBERPUNK 2077 by launching it with the platform GOG GALAXY version: 2.0.60.2 - Beta. And I would like to know for the people who have the game if you met the same problem as me, please I really need your help, because I made a ticket on GOG and the person in charge of the ticket has no idea, hence the fact that I ask for help on this forum by creating a new topic, and hoping that they answer me because I am a person disabled in the arms.
Thank you in advance if one or more people would like to help me.
In this message I will describe what I did as a test and I would like to have your opinion about the bug I had, to know if it comes from the game or if the bug comes from the GOG GALAXY platform, with the error "GalaxyClient.exe" that I have when I install and uninstall the application, with the failing module which is: Qt5Network.dll.
First of all the GOG GALAXY platform launches well and I have no bugs, then the CYBERPUNK 2077 game that I installed from the platform launches well also there is no problem when I land in the start page of the game or when I start playing the game.
However, the problem I am having and this is where I need your help is when I am looking at "XBOX GAME BAR" from a controller (an Xbox 360 gamepad), because at the moment I can only play from a controller because of my arms.
When I look at "XBOX GAME BAR" already when my computer is just started, I can only look at it six times and then "XBOX GAME BAR" freezes, the game freezes and then crashes the game and that makes my NVIDIA graphics drivers "nvlddmkm" and "Display" are the errors in red and warning that I receive in the "Windows 10 Event Viewer" three times in the "System" part and knowing that I have three screens on my Setup that makes my three screens bugged with black screens and then return to normal.
When I look at the Windows 10 control panel for the errors described above, it tells me that I have a hardware error by giving me the error that is not in red or yellow but just in the title of information "LiveKernelEvent" in "Windows 10 Event Viewer" in the "Application" part, so I look not only at the control panel, but also at the event viewer.
When I get this error I look at the device manager of my computer to see where the hardware error is and to tell you there is none.
Then to get everything back to normal I have to reboot my computer to get my NVIDIA graphics drivers back to normal. Because it displays in the control panel my audio drivers of my three screens which is not normal, this is the only problem I could see when the game crashed for the platform.
Afterwards when my computer is restarted I can look at "XBOX GAME BAR" at least fourteen times before I get the above described bug with the game CYBERPUNK 2077.
When I don't look at the XBOX GAME BAR everything is fine and I don't have any bugs with the CYBERPUNK 2077 game and I can play for at least eight hours without having the above described bug with my graphics drivers.
To know if it was the platform bug or the game itself. I also tested "XBOX GAME BAR" with another platform which is STEAM and by launching the game "A PLAGUE OF TALES - INNONCENCE" by testing with my controller at least twenty-eight times "XBOX GAME BAR" and I did not have any game crash with the problem described above.
On the other hand with this platform when I restart my computer and I play "DOOM ETERNAL" I have to force the closing of this game from the "task manager" because I hear the game but I have no image on the startup page of the game and this gives me the same error that I described above, I have to crash my game and my graphic drivers. I have to crash my game and my graphic drivers. Then I get the image of the start page and play the game "DOOM ETERNAL".
On the other hand, with the game "DOOM ETERNAL", when I just start my computer I can have the start page of the game normally and the sound of the game and everything goes well. And I don't need to go to the "task manager" to force the game to close, so it crashes, I think you understand.
I come to my questions and to your knowledge to know if my problem comes from the platform GOG GALAXY with the error "GalaxyClient.exe" or from the game CYBERPUNK 2077, or I realized that there is a huge bug.
So my questions are for this part:
1) After what I described to you concerning the bug that I have with your platform GOG GALAXY concerning the game CYBERPUNK 2077, is it that it comes from your platform because there is a failing module which is: Qt5Network.dll and which gives me the error "GalaxyClient.exe" when I install and uninstall the application?
2) Or does the bug I described come directly from the game CYBERPUNK 2077?
Because I am skeptical since I have the same error with "DOOM ETERNAL" but on the STEAM platform
If someone can answer these questions, I'd be really grateful, because I'm completely lost at this level, and it's way too technical for me, because I still have limited knowledge.
I have updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers on 14/03/2023 with the version : 531.29 for a graphics card : ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 SUPER.
Thank you if you can help me.
