I haven't run into it yet, only Ore and Sylicon, and The Guide I saw shows it only in those two areas.
Might be shown wrong on the Guide, or at least Not a complete detailed picture??

RDouglass1:
There are spoiler lists of where all the minerals can be found. You can look at them yourself but if you would rather have some hints or just one location, I can do that for you.

This tip should be alright: Rocks that are not called asteroids, so you cannot place mines on them, may contain any ore. You can pick a suitable system and start scanning rocks a bit to the side as not to get in the way of traffic and fights. When you have found some, you want to have a mobile drilling system to break those apart then a single small gun like the IRE or PAC to shoot those into small pieces. Now you choose: Do you scoop up the ores yourself or do you jump out and order a few mining TSs to do the work for you. Any TS can be turned into a mining one but there are also Miners sold at some shipyards. If you choose not to mine yourself, you should stay out of the system as not to disturb the process.

Themken: Not really snow storm but pieces of metal coming together to form the Egosoft logo. Pressing ESC twice takes you to the game but you can also mod it away: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=315147
There are 3 Start Option in the Game Floder: "X3AP.EXE"; "X3TC.EXE"; and Shortcut, "Launch X3 - Terran War Pack",, Last of which refers back to the X3TC.EXE File.

Dropping The Shortcut, and Starting The Game Just With X3TC.EXE, Allows the Stopping of the Intro, and It Starts as X3-Terran Conflict, and Nt War Pack...

Using The Shortcut Does Not Allow for stopping The Intro.
What i The Script Editor, and How does That get Activated In Game??

Rats! Sounds like your computer needs fixing or cleaning.
It Just Self Up-Dated Last Night. AV and Spy Ware Keeps it Clean, as scans almost always say No Items Found...

A Wish List For thi Game...

Now and then I Loose a Gun, or some Software, It would Be Great If Targets would do the same, and Loose a Gun That Is Better than I carry, or a Shield that would givePlayers an Edge...

It is Becoming Clearer to me Why a Player can Not Get Neutral with all Races at one time...
If you are Doing Missions for Duke Priest, and take mission for "Kill X", You find the Target Saying: "Boron Need Help", or "Teladie Need Help".

While you Raise your REP With Paranid, You are Going Down with Others fast...

I'm currently having a play through, and am more than friendly with all races including the pirates. You've just got to manage your relationships, spread the love around. Also, trade missions get mucho rep and don't piss off anyone.

As wpegg said, you don't HAVE to take on assassination missions - if you stick to passenger shuttling, trading missions, ship recovery etc. you will only increase your rep with the issuing faction with no downsides on the rep of other factions (unless, of course, you're doing missions for pirates).

I have Recently Noticed Two Things about this game That are Not True to the Programing...
1. The Targeting Circle Is OFF From The Traget Lead X or the In Range Icon, by about an Inch or More, Depending on How Far you are from The Target, and The Direction they are Traveling in relation to your ship. Fast Ship Running Sideways to you, can be off as much as Two Inches...

2. The Timer Clock For Missions is Running at 10 Seconds To One of Real Time... That Makes It REAL Hard to Kill Assasinate Targets in Time...
Seconds Run: One Thousand One, One Thousand Two, One Thousand Three, and so on.
The Timer as I was watching It was going by: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, for Eacjh Second I was Counting.

My System Is Over Clocked... Would that make Game Clock Run Faster??

If your targetting reticule is actually off centre, then it's possibly because you've accidentally shifted the cockpit view, I do it occassionally by catching my d-pad on the controller, not sure which keys might do it. Alternatively, maybe you're just placing a bit too much faith in it. It's really only a guideline assuming the ship you're targetting travels in a straight line at the same speed. It's only actually accurate when you're attacking someone by surprise.

If your timer is running at 10x, you've turned on SETA. I've been playing it through and it's running at normal speed when I am. Overclocking wouldn't do it, especially not by a factor of 10.

EDIT: the other possibility with the targetting is that your strafing has got stuck "on". If I use it then it defaults to strafing left, altering my targetting. I find shifting my speed up and down resets it.
