Thanks, I need it. I am now playing Icewind Dale 2 and I just started the first "real" chapter (after the prologue), playing in the hardest difficulty level (not Heart of Fury though).

The thing is, I read about "level squatting" which means you try to hold off levelling up your team members as long as you can because that maximizes the amount of experience points you get from killing enemies, as the game gives you extra XP if you fight enemies "above" your level.

So all my characters are still on level 1, while otherwise they'd be on level 3 already. I'm now having a problem trying to beat the orcs in the beginning of chapter 1, not sure if I should just level up my characters now. Damn it.

Was it so that if I level up, say, only two of my characters and leave four characters to level 1, the game still thinks my team is on level 1 (from this experience point gathering point of view)?

Go for Marlin or Huchen. Them fat fishes get you shaytan-load of XP and bling-bling. ;)

Got my pike! 16lbs.

Nothing to brag about, but I'm obsessed with catching one of everything and the pike was proving to be very elusive. :D
