rtcvb32: You know thinking about it there's a lot of bugs and insects that I wouldn't rescue. But there are a couple I would. Namely mantises and ladybugs. Beyond that I'd really have to think about it.
You've never been where I live. :P Lady bugs get so thick here when you walk around it sounds like you are walking on corn flakes.

I had done that before. Roach, spider, ants etc. Once I even captured a snake in my house and released it outside

I'd take lady bugs over the box elder bugs that seem to have given us trouble the last 3 years...

I guess you're right, and lady bugs don't really bother me.
In fact a few years ago we had a minor aphid infestation which almost killed my mother because she works so hard on our gardens. A week into it the annual ladybug rush started and in literally five hours EVERY aphid was gone from the property.

I want to rid the world of all spiders. They are hideous and freak me out and some spiders are quite dangerous.

Any problems involving insect populations can be handled by human methods like fly swatters and spray.

In the U.S. every year more people are killed by cows than by spiders; how do you feel about them? :P

Any living thing which enters my home without my expressed and intended permission is killed with extreme prejudice.

The sole exception was the jumping spider which lived around my kitchen sink dubbed "Bob", because jumping spiders have a more overt intelligence and curiosity.. Haven't seen him in a bit. I'm wondering what happened to Bob...

Spiders, house centipedes... anything that can't harm me and that kills ants is welcome in my home. Don't really care how ugly it is as long as it keeps the ants in check.
