Looks like from 2016 to 2017 revenue for CDP as a whole was down 120K PLN and down 30K EUR.

BUT asset value as a whole rose 110K PLN and 40K EUR

So we should send him to Hawaii?

There it is the stupidist thing I'll see all day.

Only if we pour some concrete over it to contain the stench.

Maybe such "extreme" statements make me appear irrationally defensive of GOG but honestly, there's no basis whatsoever for most of the stuff. The statements demonstrate a clear lack of knowledge and logic. I would gladly go over each and every one of those points but my schedule is tight enough as it is.

To be honest, i don't regret for any game i bought on GOG -- i'd do it again. I'm totally satisfied with GOG even though several folks would argue about the forum (you don't need to use them anyway) or the sometimes late updates (i have the patience to wait for some hours until the new patch goes live) or even the slow at times support (never had a problem with the team: when i needed them, they always replied in a matter of hours) and Galaxy (i don't use it). Why's that? Because their games are DRM-Free, they work every time & they're willing to refund me if any game doesn't work. This is what i'm looking for in a gaming store, and GOG has it all.

Personally I'm worried.
I can't wait till apehater sees the OP. :P

Since you already sound a bit biased about the whole thing, are you sure it wasn't just adding coal to the fire? :)

Not saying there's anything wrong with not purchasing games on GOG or leaving GOG entirely, but you don't need a discussion/convincing for that I think. It's something you can evaluate on a personal level - does it make sense to you to purchase a game here/stay or not?

Anyway, I don't want to get into an argument over any of this (to each his own), but to address at least one of the points from the excerpt you've provided, GOG has been known to occasionally secure publishing rights for certain games. They don't just sell the Witcher :P.

I also don't think there's anything particularly wrong with their general business model (of course there are other things which are sub-optimal, but that's just life) and would certainly not want them to change their name to YAS and turning into yet another Steam.

Maybe he should, or maybe he should just stop...

Wait no, Teenagent.

We joke about Teenagent but Tyrian is actually a great game. I HATE scrollers but I still love Tyrian. It is amazing given it's age.
