CymTyr: Supposed to be around 16 degrees Celsius today for Halloween, with rain showers on and off all day. In fahrenheit, it is going to get up to the lower 60's.

I am in northeastern Ohio.
currently in ohio myself (southwestern) and yep, pretty much the same weather for us.

Well,the hail storm not only put a hole in the roof and also the garage it also blew up our main A/C and we just had a week's heatwave and still waiting for an insurance assessment.Our mainline phone was just fixed yesterday.Some comfort at the moment is a few cooler days and hoping it lasts a while.

Just got another, "Climate change is a hoax" from one of my guests. :P

Whenever that happens there is an odd pause and then the immense terror upon the realization that they aren't joking.
To be fair it's not a hoax but it is not just due to man.....the earth goes through natural cycles as well over time and has done such WAY before we became a major contender on the scene.

Look out any window in the house and see a reddish/brown skyline. Been in a 2 year drought and two weeks of bush fires and yet, we are still in Spring.

Most of the people who deny climate change are boomers, they know climate change is real but they are old and will die before the effects of climate change start affecting their daily lives, but anti-climate laws like carbon taxes will probably incease the price of fuel and other goods, it's selfishness in it's most basic pure form. Boomers are the masters of creating problems and leaving them for us, the new generation, to fix.
