Chacranajxy: Always nice to see GOG saving us from good games. Guess I'll just get it from Humble.
Does one need to get an account to buy from them and are their copies DRM free installers or steam keys?

Also yeah...Gog apparently thinks stuff like this isn't appealing to a wide enough audience YET they seem to think that that Molek-Syntez game IS.

(Pic related must be Gog these past few years)

Humble has some DRM-free stuff. This game is one of those titles. You need an account to buy stuff, obviously, but after you buy it, you just download the installer and can do whatever you want with it.
Maybe we will see it here on release day or at a later time.
But i really want to see some reviews first on this one.

Sounds good....I assume they don't need much info to buy from them?

(Basic stuff like email/payment info/etc?)

Me as well....but tbh at this point(with even some "amateur" YT reviewers doing stuff for money/etc) I only mostly trust people I know(including a few YTers here and there and others on forums).

(Of course i'd likely buy it even without them if it's cheap enough, to see if it's any good)

Yeah thats common practice by now that everone that thas atleast 1 viewer on twitch could get a
review copy from a indy game.
I would just watch the game to see if the game is for me or not if its the GOTY or WOTY (worst of the year)
doesn't matter personal taste may differ from mine :).
XSEED will probably try to sell it for $39.99 if not $49.99 like many of their titles...

Not that worried anymore if it releases here I just see it as saving money, If they don't release it I just automatically stop buying from them again since I wanted to reward them for Grimoire release I started buying but if this game doesn't release here on the 15th I just will go into lockdown again with my wallet. Not to mention it would also be nice if we got some news on if they are gonna release some games they rejected, for instance, Hatred, Agony, Mercenary kings, All the shoot em ups, and there might be plenty more we don't know off that were rejected.

Depends on games. Some don't have DRM-free builds, so Humble acts as a key reseller. Mostly they're reselling Steam keys, but other times Uplay and very rarely GOG keys (The Witcher).

If they do have DRM-free builds, you can access them from your Humble library on their website. Unlike GOG they don't pack them up in neat Humble-eqsue installers, so you could end up with a zip file, a 7z, an exe or a msi, anything is on the table. You then unpack or install the game and play. Also there's no Humble client, so downloading from the website is your only way (but you can use download managers once you do). They might give you the soundtrack for the game in some circumstances, but they're not extras heavy like GOG is.

Oh stop spreading nonsense, and tell your "friends" to cut it with the low ratings......we all know what's going on.

(Luckily I'm not in charge, else they'd be banned long ago)

It will cost 15 dollars!! :)

"XSEED Games has announced that Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will launch for PC for Steam and the Humble store on January 15. The game will be priced at $14.99/€14.99/£12.99 with a launch week discount of 10% off."

Rejoice!

anyway - Zachtronics games are very, very good puzzles games that sell quite well and have a large fan base, so I am not sure why you use it as an example

Did you ever think the reason you get downvoted is your inability to make a reasonable argument? That and talking out of your behind...

Legend of Heroes Cold Steel is a PS3 port and sells for $39.99 with another $25.97 in DLC
Legend of Heroes Cold Steel II is a PS3 port that sells for $39.99 with another $54.83 in DLC

That's typical XSEED....

It's good to know XSEED won't gouge as much with this title. $14.99 is less than even the $19.99 they charged for the Trails in the Sky port of a 2004 game.

Now that is surprising...
Makes me wonder how much they planned to ask when it was first pitched to GoG and if higher, if that lead to its initial rejection. Or whether it was their lack of an IP license or just the middling reviews as a PS3 game. That price point might make this a reasonable acquisition for GoG.

Unfortunately there are some people who seem to think there is no reason for any game to be rejected, regardless of the price or lack of quality or any other factors.

They downvotin'
They hatin'

Keep at it, winrars! Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I got a banging hot 2348 rep. I'm trying to visualise you, sitting in the back of your mom's trailer as you keep spamming that shiny red button before you're off to your shift at the local Kwik Fill. You hit that button and hit and hit, but that damn number just won't go down. It won't go down enough. At the current rate, it's going to take you 3 years to push me into the negative. Are you up for that? Can you cope with this herculean tast? And that is if I don't get bored of those shenanigans somewhere along the way and bother support to flip the tinyE-switch on me, so none of the downvotes are actually counted and my rep starts to soar, even though all my posts are low-rated, low-effort garbage.

You got a choice here, m8: Get a life or keep being a winrar and end up crying yourself to sleep every other night until that one fateful rainy day when you realise in a bout of alcohol and antidepressant-induced stupor that the noose might be the lesser of cruel fates after all.

Ur choice, pal!
