Uhm, no. Most is playing the story. It's almost like watching a movie, but where you can influence the action. And what you do has consequences.

Is this bait? I mean, I don't know anything about either series so I can't accurately say, but this feels like bait.

I have't played Witcher 3, but I can hardly see how it could be much like Fable... but it doesn't sound like bait either, since I don't see how it could cause a shitstorm. I mean, bait would be something like "Witcher is just a Dragon Age rip off!" or something like that. It's just very random, but not trollish enough. I don't know.

Both are very different games in there own respective rights, fable is great and witcher is great as well so enjoy both! :)

I think, yeah, it can be rough but only on high difficulty levels. Witcher 3 is a story, story, and once again story. Just try to go deeply into this world, and stop to think about leveling :) Witcher 1 had better story in my opinion tho.

I suppose they're both action CRPGs.
And they both don't have great stories.
And they're both set in a fantasy world.
They certainly share some similarities, but I wouldn't call them similar.

The first Fable was good, the first witcher was good. In a battle between the two, ,Fable would win as Geralt spends far too much time posing for the camera or picking up cheap ho's! Adult game indeed.

Have you noticed that Ashes of the Singularity is just a graphically-enhanced and modernized version of Dune 2?

I've played both and they are a hell lot of different than each other.Witcher 3 is a masterpiece and Fable don't even come near it.

No this post was not meant as Bait, but rather my own observation...so I decided to Google sims between the two games..seems I am not the only one to think this. I understand it is a better game in most ways, but..there are similarities between them. thanks everyone for your imput!

Sure there are, it's just that those are on a very basic level, things that I think most RPGs would have in common.

Also, sorry if we got too snarky on you. It's kind of they way we tend to react around here. It's sort of like walking into a real-life game store where a lot of gamers and nerds hang around all the time and to someone new the banter may sound way more hostile than intended.
