I would like to put the game back onto my SSD from my HDD. How would I do that with out having to reinstall everything? Currently and where I moved to install the games onto my HDD are D:\GOG Games

I'd say copying the folder directly and then giving it a try. 99% of the time I have no issues running a game from a ramdrive doing just this thing.
Once it runs correctly on the new drive, you just have galaxy or your shortcuts get updated for the new location.

I pinched this from another thread as I couldn't post the link:
1. Move the current installed and working (in galaxy) game folder to wherever you like.
(Galaxy should now tell you "install file corrupted" or something.)
2. Uninstall the game in galaxy.
3. Choose "import Folder" in galaxy, choose the folder where you copied the game and watch galaxy check the files in the NEW location and your done.

Oh wow... I thought that the registry would have been somehow involved. Are all Gog games portable?

Most games will work fine if you move them. It's just later if you try to uninstall them, patch them, or install DLC you may run into issues with registry entries pointing to the old location.

Luckily. I have a very fast internet connection. So, its nothing for me to uninstall and reinstall downloading everything again. If this is best to avoid corruption, updating, registry issues etc. I can uninstall the game and uninstall gog. Then reinstall both again. Think that is best? I would also hope if going this route. GOG will default back to proper settings.
I do have my documents, music, pictures and videos pointing to my HDD. If that matters or not.

Not all of them, but most of them. Basic registry things like installation paths are mostly removed, but some things remain. Several games won't work properly if you just port them. Dungeon Keeper 2, for example, uses the registry to track your campaign progress, so it can get into a weird state if your savegame doesn't match up to the campaign.

(Well, KKND2 had issues even if it was installed correctly, like the infamous "mission failed"-bug...)

I usually move the folders then create a symlink in its place so I'm not going crazy.
