Any news, GOG/CDPR?
If this is true, I hope PC existing users get the new version for free, right?
EDIT: It seems someone from CDPR confirmed no Enhanced is coming.

Maybe it's an edition with the free DLCs on disc. The expansion most likely won't be included or if it will, it will cost like the current Game+ expansion combo.
The only true information about it is that some stores offer this edition...release probably next month.

All other *informations* are rumors; a better graphic (like those first promo videos..till they realized that its impossible
with the consoles; new cut scenes and voice acting....
probably a free download for buyers of the old version.
I still like that even though Witcher 3 got GotY from a few pretty heavy and respected publications, they're not pimping out that award like some trophy and are instead going with Enhanced Edition once again.
I'm sure they're adding GOG's headquarters as a new explorable area and Judas as a new Über Boss. :)
I'm waiting for a cheap EE.
The reasons are two:
1. the witcher 3 seem an action (such as 2) ... very different from the great Witcher 1.
2. the cost with expansion pack (also on sale), is above 50 € ... 40 € are a lot of money, the games on average now cost 20 € (Pillars of Eterrnity, a really great game cost 20€ on sale, with the expansion is 40€).
only the "triple A" have cost so absurd. Fortunately I have patience, and follow a few triple A ... hitman, the witcher, Batman (I will not buy it since it uses denuvo) and dark souls.

Moreover, unlike other games (and its predecessors), the witcher 3 is for Windows only. Not Mac or Linux.

high cost + less RPG + Windows only = 15€ base game or 20€ EE.
40€ in the "Leclerc" near my home. Really cheap but I already have it so...
Michal PG (a CD Projekt RED PR Guy) says that it's not happening: https://twitter.com/michalpg/status/686262670375436288

I wouldn't be surprised if it happens later, though.
I hope there is an EE with proper optimisation down the line, and sooner rather than later. I love the game but it runs like ass sometimes. Just had to load a previous save because I got caught in a fight loop with harpies that wouldn't come down and fight me and I couldn't exit combat to use a ladder to get back up to where the harpies wanted to fight me.
I hope they would include better mod tools (which supports user made quests and few more things.) and upgrade graphics (that was downgraded) with The Witcher 3 EE.

It's the mods which has kept Skyrim alive. I hope CDPR will do something like that with TW3 mod kit.
