0 games for me too.

Good thing I was busy this morning, noticed the GOG sale, but didn't have time to buy any games before the news about Devotion and GOG bending the knee to China. I wish Taiwan could get their rebellious mainland back under their control.

I'll probably get a few things, but that's because I got a bit of wallet cash left. After that's gone though I may abstain from buying anything for some time though.

why buy just to spend money? makes no sense
buy what you will want to play next at least within a month

I was waiting for this sale to get my kids the Beamdog EE nwn and bg with me l their new laptops, but it's only a 50% discount. Looks like we'll be playing the original.
I was hoping for some bigger sales, too, since my Covid income has been minimal, but no dice.

I've been eyeing the Metal Gear Solid games, but, without a good discount, they're out of my price range for 2020.

Here's to next Christmas.
Only Doom/Wolvenstein 2 and Driftland

now my allowance is gone (( wheepin' face <<
I've damn near 100% GOG in terms of games that are appealing to me. I'll pick up Phantom Doctrine and possibly Raiders!, then I'm done with the current catalogue.

That logic was fine maybe a decade ago. However, in today's digital world, and with games especially, it can 'magically' be removed from sale, possibly never to be seen again. So if you want it now or later, and it's within your budget to do so, best get it now. That 'down the road' thinking will likely end with you never getting it. My backlog is filled with many games that have expired licenses, etc and won't be returning for sale anytime soon or ever. Just food for thought.
0 for me, I would have bought Devotion, but since they decided not release it, I'm not gonna buy anything.

Well, you are right, but you are collecting game as I see, do you play them all?
For me, I don't intend to collect games. I just get the ones I definitely want to play and there is a limit to how many I can play. I already have more games than free time for them, so for me buying new ones just when I run out of my current ones is fine even if I miss out on some games, I want to play forever.
Of course, my preference changes over time especially as newer games come out. Sometimes I just get one even if I have plenty of other games to play already usually multiplayer titles to play with friends. Rarely I get one from a gifter, and I just apply for games I would like to try out and play.

In short for me missing out on some games is totally fine.

Do I play them all? No. I wish I could. Maybe 20 years ago that would be the case. So while I have the means to collect, but not play, I'll store them for safe keeping until such a time my play time frees up. I wasn't always a collector. I think that kicked in 5 years ago, much too late in life when I should have held on to many of my physical games. Much regrets for that. When I saw many of my favorite games going away I quickly found myself in a panic that collecting was my only option for my fear of missing out. To make myself feel better, I refer to it as my own private museum of awesome ;-)
bought quite a lot on latest black friday sale, due to flashes. Right now, I see no games to pick from - I still have about 100 entries in my wishlist, but discounts are just not there

Not buying shit from these Winnie the Pooh lovers.
