I just did all the work so people can now use gog galaxy without having to have windows 7 sp1.

First you need to download a older version of gog galaxy and then install the dll files to their proper folders in the windows folder.
dropbox.com/s/z05acv5orobvzp2/gog-galaxy-1-0-2-958-en-win.exe?dl=0

First put the system32 dlls into C:\Windows\System32

dropbox.com/sh/1mh2ultzgw69iao/AAATfd9U0Yz8PxQ51zsqJPdka?dl=0

then if you have windows 64 you will also need to put your dlls here C:\Windows\SysWOW64

I hope this helps some people, it took me a few hours to figure this out for myself and i hope it saves you the trouble.

Edit: fixed it.

Going to note something interesting. I ended up installing the Unreal Editor toolkit, and it fixed something in my computer that let me install SP1.

However it was a pain and all that jazz. So... *shrugs*

zredgemz: Edit: great i can not post links.
I'll repost them, although if you throw it inside a quote the links work, although I don't know if you can customize the links with custom names...
I dunno how to quote here but all you need to add to the front of the links is www. so its all good.

Some of those dlls might not let you put them into the folder but all the ones needed will, it was such a pain googling this work around and then i found this thread. I just wanted to make it as painless as can be for the next guy that ends up finding this thread.
