Hello friends as windows 10 lancuhed in the market, I am using windows 7 professional on my computer i need to ask about the games to be played in 2016. Please share me windows 7 supported games

Anything but Quantum Break, I think. Or whatever other Windows 10-only games Microsoft intends to release during 2016, maybe some Halo or Gears of War?

I know I'm having issues with programs/games that are compiled using VS2015, since they require a new runtime that won't install on my computers. Seems I require SP1 for Windows 7, however I can't install the servicepack either. So far this isn't really a concern, but it's a slight annoyance.

Did you try downloading the SP bypassing the broken MS update? That is how I solved it once after trying just about everything else. Some things MS makes well but the updater is not one of them.

I have the SP1 offline update, and keeps throwing error... what was it... error 0x80070422? Eventually gave up. Might be easier to slipstream the update into my disc and then reinstall the OS.

Grab simplix. The official page (linked) is in Russian, but you should be able to either translate it or find multiple other pages explaining its use. You can use it both for slipstreaming into a disc and install the updates on a live system.
Usually updates on the 15th of each month (or close to that).

so it means i have limited games to play in 2016 that supports windows 7 professional should i upgrade my operating system?

Pretty much, you might not want to play QB however as it's always online.
You can't play it offline.
