I'm really curious of the default graphic drivers because on my fucked up laptop, default windows7 settings are stuck in 640x480 or 1024x768 (16/9 screen originally)
Unless Windows 10 turns out to be absolutely fabulous I'm fairly sure I'll be sitting this out for now too.

I didn't like 7 much at first, but I have grown to quite like it and I know it's quirks so I don't see myself upgrading just yet...
i personally hope that we get indepedent from direct x till 2020 and i don't have to use a new windows again!

there was only one perfect windows and it was win 2k pro!

Time to start the installation then. Back in a bit.
As a gamer it's probably best not to be on the front lines of a new OS but I can see myself upgrading sometime soon. First gonna see what happens on the Steam forums, if it's a mess I can wait :)
Where? I can't see it :P Does it hide behind my Ubuntu?

DirectX is ok no need to go independent from DirectX.
Before the news, I wanted to buy a new powerful PC with Win10 Pro (maybe retail), and finally download all GOG games for Win.

After the news, I'm worried and I'll have to wait for critical indeep reviews.
Why did I stupidly miss Win7, damn!

At worst, I'll have to abandon MS and pass to Linux. :\
(good for freedom, but bad for compatibility and ease. It will be a pain..)

I'll wait a month or two until there's good feedback about the compatibility of some older software I use for work. Don't want to hit a "You have to buy ew versions of this, this, this and this" wall. But as soon as everything's clear, I'll upgrade immediately.

so far i don't see any reason for this
Virus 10? Nah, not really. I`ll use my Win 7 as long as I can. And then Win 11 will be there.
On a serious note, I'm downloading the ISO, I haven't yet decided if I simply upgrade or do a clean install. The download speed however is abysmal.

What are you worried about Windows 10? Just buy a Windows 7 copy or Windows 8.1 copy, which sell for like $15 dollars (USD) then claim your Windows 10 copy for free.
