Then it's impossible you have games ON GOG....as your account says you own 0 games here.

Maybe you mean you don't see your steam games in galaxy 2.0? If so then you'd likely need to ask in the galaxy forums/threads or ask customer support if need be.

Randalator: Maybe try and login with the correct account and not the one with which you haven't bought a single game here?
I think they are using Galaxy and their Steam/etc games aren't showing up in their galaxy lists.

Themken: Some games in other shops come with limited downloads and you cannot save a backup copy but must redownload whenever you want to reinstall. Limits I have seen: 2 (!!), 3 & 5 times.

I don't remember the exact details, but Square Enix had some weird download limit when they released Final Fantasy VII on their site a few years ago. You didn't need to re-download the installer for every fresh instalation, but you had to backup the installer somewhere to be able to install the game a few weeks/months later.

Hah! Found this old thread on reddit:

edit: Oh, great... Didn't see that this thread was necro'd... Have fun with your late answer ;P

monsterzero_jr: If I buy a new PC, will my GOG games download/install on the new PC without having to pay for them again?
The joys of DRM FREE! you can install the games you buy here on every pc you own in your household :) and you can even back up the installers on Burned CD's/DVD's or hard drive externally

You responded to an old post. The necro post, which in this case is related, is a little higher up.

Somehow I don't think you're coming back, but if you do you need to give a bit more info so people can help.

Where did you buy the games? How did you buy them?

Well exactly. Hence the need for more info.

It could just be that they've inadvertantly signed up for a second account. That seems to be a bafflingly common problem.

How does one make a second account by accident? And why would anyone be surprised that their games don't show up on the second account?

You know well why, do I really need to educate you on the human capability for stupidity?

In this day and age, I don't wonder about such things anymore...they have become much too common.
Human intelligence is regressing.

Well, you know the old saying: hope dies last.

But unfortunately - stupidity has put on the seven-league boots.

I've also seen it with DVDs. Of Orcs and Men retail release was limited to 5 installations for example.

I have Red Alert 3. I installed it like 4 times already, but I've never seen anything written about an installation limit on the box or the disc itself. No warning or anything. I hope that I don't get badly surprised in the future.

EDIT:
Crack/No-DVD patch will bypass it anyway so no worries.

Also, you can actually de-authorize the installation on a computer and it should technically refund you the installation. I've never done that though, so the first option it is :P
