Lies of P looks FANTASTIC. It looks to be for Pinocchio what American McGee's Alice is for Alice in Wonderland. And I'm all for it! I love the look of it. I certainly hope they will bring it here.

Also, Atlas Fallen from Deck 13 (Lords of the Fallen, The Surge) looks incredible, and they already have games here. Here's hoping we get both of these excellent looking games!

Fixed. Atlas fallen already has a Steam page, and I couldn't link that sooo.... I had to search for some news site that doesn't sell games.

He probably means this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKP18vFW83A
Atlas Fallen, being published by Focus Entertainment is a safe bet, but as always, a GOG page will only appear at a later date.

As for Lies of P, it does indeed look very good. It's a possibility. Very recently we got the page for Bleak Faith: Forsaken, which was never marketed as coming to GOG previously. Once again, it Lies of P comes here we'll only know in the foreseeable future.

Btw, you mentioned Alice and it reminded me of how I wish the first game could be brought back to stores.
Lies of P is probably a little more unlikely, since both the developer and publisher are South Korean-based. Neowiz, the publisher has released on GoG before, but given the blissful ignorance among Asian devs/pubs in general when it comes to GoG as a competing distribution platform to the other one, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that the GoG release of 8Doors: Arum's Afterlife Adventure was just a one-off, and both Rootless Studio as well as Neowiz couldn't tell you what a GoG is, were you to ask them now.

Appreciated!

DuckDuckGo may be great, but the results arent always what you require! ;)

Edit: yup, Lies of P looks pretty mad! Love it.

They are also remaking Lords of the Fallen, aptly named The Lords of the Fallen so as not to confuse anybody :P.

Seeing as how the original game is here, that will hopefully appear here too.

Is it a remake, a reboot, or a sequel? I can't find any information (admittedly I haven't looked terribly hrd)
So an overrated and sometimes vitriolic level designer for Quake really is the best comparison you could make?

A successor would be the best word. Set in the same world, but a completely new game.
This article covers it well:

?? American McGee's Alice was an INCREDIBLE game that really put an awesome perspective on the story of Alice. Quake has nothing to do with it.
Whatever American did with Quake or outside gaming, his namesake on the game isn't the point. It's the name of the game (which he obviously was heavily involved in).

If you've never played American McGee's Alice (the official name, not an attribution), you missed out. The game was an excellent 3D puzzle-platformer with dark-but-still-cartoony character design and was a joy to play through most levels. It felt like a Tim Burton movie properly put in a video game.

So, yes. An overrated and sometimes vitriolic level designer for Quake really IS the best comparison to make.
Well, that's definitely not the Pinocchio, I remember from my childhood.
And it's a Souls-like...so, not for me. shrug

I concur!

Atlas Fallen is out on Steam already. Do we have any info about the release date on GoG?
Atlas Fallen is getting very lukewarm reviews, so not sure about it, especially with so many other games coming out now (Starfield next week!).

Lies of P has a very good style and interesting story, but it is a souls like and I just cannt grok them. I am too old and slow. I kinda wish it was like American McGee's Alice, but it is most definitly not. So that has no interest for me either.
