andysheets1975: They're definitely bigger in Europe. They're not unknown in the U.S. but more like cult figures, especially to people who like spaghetti westerns.

Darvond: That'd explain it. I don't think I've ever sat down to watch a serious Western.
I'm from Europe, I love Westerns, and I never heard of those guys.

The Trinity movies are probably worth a watch then, if you don't mind comedy in your Westerns.

Edit: also: My Name is Nobody.

It sure is considering I meant to say "pool table" instead of "poker". I'll go back into my cave.

ReynardFox: Anyone know if the original is DRM free on PC in any stores?
The steam version starts without the client but crashes before getting to the main menu i believe. Only works fine with steam running.

Not even Unforgiven, In a Valley of Violence, or True Grit (2010, I guess there is some earlier version as well)? Come on!

Have you tried to actively avoid watching them?

The poker scene in "The Sting" is the most bestestest in the whole wide world!

Wow, I can't believe it. When I grew up Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were like mega popular.

A youtuber by the name of Hats Off Entertainment did a nice video on them.

They were never huge in the US like they were in Europe, although I heard stories that HBO basically aired the Terence Hill solo effort Super Snooper (AKA Super Fuzz) in an endless loop during their early days.
kabel eins, a sub-channel of one of the two biggest private broadcasting networks in Germany and Europe is basically dedicated to (fairly regularly) airing Bud Spencer & Terence Hill flicks, especially on weekends and on/during public holidays, sometimes in a marathon, running as much of them as can be crammed into a day, and then doing it again on the next one.

I saw that one in the theater. It's very silly but I have some nostalgia for it.
At this point, it doesn t look like Slaps and Beans will ever make it to GoG.
Was waiting for it to be released here, ever since i heard it was in development.

Thats all there is to say, i don t even know if said developer is still active.

Swedrami: With the sequel, "Slaps and Beans 2" currently being crowdfunded, it'd be as good a time as any to reach out to Trinity Team/Buddy Productions and finally get the first one on here.

From the Sequel's Kickstarter's FAQ:
Q: Will Slaps and Beans 2 be published on GoG?
A: Publication on other platforms is not currently planned, though not ruled out.

When I played the Steam version recently, I encountered some bugs that caused the game to crash during a couple of cutscenes and forced me to replay the levels. Some controller issues, too, I think. Although it didn't stop me from finishing the game, when I looked into it, it appeared that the developers stopped updating the game a good while ago. I guess they're doing something since they were releasing it on Switch and now they want to make a second one, but GOG might want a less rough-edged product to sell if they were to get the first one.
