I've just tried it and it is super awesome. Nothing negative about it. I do not understand why some people do not like it.

Is it because GOG seems to trying to push it at every sale, and possibly secretly embedding a Jack Keane installer in all GOG games?

Everyone has a built in inferiority complex against Jack Keane. If he were a real guy, he could steal your girlfriend simply with a wink.

Maybe so, but as long as the game stays fully optional and you are not forced to play it, I don't see why people mind.

You're here since 2011; you where already here when the long night of the Keane happened; you just have forgotten to protect yourself and your sanity.
Wasn't there a post from the devs/publishers of the game commenting about the whole Keane -thing? Or have I been dreaming?

Oh god I hope not; the whole thing was already embarassing enough as it was :P

Its neither theirs nor the games fault. I mean it does look like a rock solid, fun P&C adventure.

Yeah, they did - and they were surprisingly good about. Accepted the humor of the situation and didn't seem offended at all.

Forgotten what?
There was nothing to forget.

And anyway, it wasn't with the first game but with the sequel. And more because of its pricepoint. And it wasn't that bat, it happened worse in subsequent insomnia with several other games. But kids will be kids, they can't avoid making a meme out of everything.

The fact is we never got any of the other Deck13 adventures. Or games. Yeah, those funny little eager kids...
