Is there a way to get this to be exclusive Fullscreen? It only has Windowed and Windowed Borderless.

Games tend to run at a less FPS when they are in the windowed modes so is there anyway to force this game to go Fullscreen or do I need to find a mod?

EDIT: Oddly enough this might be a Windows 7 issue. When I installed this on my Windows 10 gaming laptop the option is there to run this at fullscreen. Why that is not available on the other Windows 7 PC is beyond me.

Why you're still running Windows 7 PCs and why CDPR even chose to support a decade old (now unsupported) OS , is beyond me.

How much of the game's clunk and sorry state was caused by this baffling decision, I do not know.

It's probably indeed, a Windows 7 issue, having to do with how antiquated the compositor is.

btw fullscreen is outdated, wonder why it is even an option, just use windowed borderless

win10 is the best os atm so it cant be a piece of chit or whatever, that's why most gamers use win10

Have you tried alt+enter while in game?
I've read conflicting things about that, but some articles say that there is no "true" fullscreen mode in Directx 12 even on Windows 10, but there is something called "Fullscreen Optimizations" (which is enabled by default and can be disabled in the compatibility settings) that makes borderless window as good (or almost) as exclusive fullscreen. I don't know how DirectX 12 support is implemented in Windows 7, but I suppose it's possible that it only works in borderless window mode.

Hm, interesting...I hadn't even thought to check that. I wonder if any other games I've played 'fullscreen' were really screen sized windowless. Might explain why some games handle screenshots and context-switching a lot better than others, or maybe some games just fail at fully supporting Windows stuff.

Hopefully I won't need to drop the resolution.
