I'm not completely opposed to the mystery-box mechanic, and they are priced pretty well, BUT it doesn't matter that they won't give you dupes for things you already own if you can't mark other games as "Already owned" on other platforms. Yes, I get that this could be abused to tweak drop odds, but I own 427 games on Steam in addition to having accounts with uPlay, Origin, Itch.io, etc. etc. If I can't avoid dupes for games I own outside of GOG, there is no way this will ever appeal to me.
Don't get me wrong; I appreciate the lengths to which GOG goes to be a more open platform, including their addition of Steam games to your GOG account, but adding an "Already Owned" button to the store pages would go a long way.
Alternately, listing the pool of games that are potentially in a box would help narrow down whether or not I think it's worth it to pick one up.
