Sorry, I think it's etched into the history books forever. (or unless a hard drive without a backup fails). :)

Most likely reasons for a post not going through:
1) Attempting to post a link with low rep (less than 7). Remove the http:// part and try posting again.
2) Attempting to post a post over the character limit. From what I recall, the character limit is a few thousand characters, so you can always try to shorten the post to see if it goes through.
3) Missing a closing quote tag. The bold/italic/underline tags usually don't mind missing the closing tag, but broken quote tags will result in issues.
great - so my first thread is spam xP
(pls dont slap me for that - i tryed to post 2 times befor and lost the threads content, hope yo understand this test was "necessary" xP)

Actually I think your second thread is spam too but I wouldn't sweat it. :P At least you have a sense of humor about it. :D

Overall good to know - im blind ore is it nowhere mentioned?
(especially at ".../support/website_help/forums_feedback")
1. beside the address part above i havent tryed using links
2. was under 1000 chars (maybe they should implement a counter then!)
3. yea, that could be the issue^^ - but normaly it just displays text wrong or gives an error message that prevents you from posting and requires you to edit (but as far my knowledge goes BB-Code is based and interpreted by HTML, wich give a f*** on correct closed code-tags - so thats more a build in code checking feature!^^)
in my case it just hang-up in a loading loop and if i try to copy the text it frezes xP

Historically speaking, the forum software itself doesn't get updated (if at all) regardless of the many flaws others' point out over time.

wow, theres something more worse than steam community xP
what happend to the good custom forums? - i mean today you can buy forum software for nearly everything and even made to be easy customizeable!^^ - seems to be fast selfbuild, cant spot a forumsoftware hint :-/
check quellcode now^^ - forget it, awkward php generated xP
(or poorly written? - does php comment stuff out by itself? - there some link's - dont think they supposed to be given out commented)
(my knowledge of php is very small - so dont take me to serious^^ - i had to learn it at shool 10years ago and since then luckly never needed to work with html/php that much anymore! - i love how xml, lua, cs, css work^^)

Custom forum software in the eyes of others' is a large cost in development. I worked for a company where the Web team released a custom "internal forum website", the developers at the company exploited it to its full potential.

Did they fix the software? No, they sent around a steel-toed army-boot enforcer to tell me not to post any more scripts.
