Ah, maybe it's the other way round. I just checked, my St. Patrick's day which was changed immediately was png, while another one I did further back for the courtroom thread was jpg and took several days to appear.

Or it could be just the forum software behaving unpredictably.

Wouldn't hurt to try it in png though.

I never bothered bothering them with it as there are much more critical problems in need of fixing, like broken support links, games for sale not found by their names and more.

You're right. It's not a critical issue. But it will be better if they fix such community bugs. A glitch-free forum is much better than a forum with bugs.

Well, avatar updated after 10-12 days. So moonshineshadow was right about the bug.

Seems like it's really inconsistent and luck-based, then. I changed mine earlier today and it only took one or two hours. Maybe it updates a bunch of avatars at once and then goes to sleep? (Though I doubt that it would sleep for almost two weeks.)

Please read my previous post. That's the reason why I posted this question. Strange bug. I tried different solutions, but none of them worked for me. It's odd and I don't know why it happened.

GOG support team sent me 2 solutions:

1. Use account "refresh".

2. "Please try clearing your browser cache files, and then changing the avatar again.
If this doesn't help, please try changing the avatar while in incognito mode, to prevent your browser plugins from interfering with the process."

I tried solution #1 and it did not work. I decided to not try solution #2 and I waited to see if GOG server updates my avatar.
