The game is just too new for a substantial discount
Sachys: Its
very niche -
few people have ever heard of it and
you may have to make your own graphics card to ensure you can play it.
:-D
TheNamelessOne_PL: I would really like to purchase Baldur's Gate 3 but it never seems to go on sale. Why? Why is that the case?
Oriza-Triznyák: Don't waste your money on that overhyped game . Look for better ones in the Gog catalog .
I remember when Divinity 2 was less than 1€, and the developers are the same, probably with the same design philosophy at the base..

timppu: This is a staring contest. Who breaks first, you or Baldur's Gate 3?
Tne answer is: you. It will get a deep discount right after you've bought the game, but not before. I am pretty sure they've even set a specific automatic trigger for that, it is just waiting for you to purchase the game. Sometimes they do shit like that.
Every purchase in attention capitalism is a stare contest!
P.S. It happened to me with "Hitman Blood Money". Hurried to get it at as low as 2€...then it plummeted at 1€ after a few days and stayed there. Not much loss though (but mathematically it was another 50% drop!)
